Speaking of jealousy, i remember two of my lil cousins (6 & 4yrs old) trying to flush their 2yrs old brother down the toilet. They actually got him to drink some of the water before my aunt caught them, as they had his head inside the toilet bowl. |

Kids, Can't live with them can't live without them. I have a very energetic 2 year old boy when I am at work I miss him like crazy the minute I walk into the house, I start screaming at him like a possessed woman. The other day I was in the bathroom getting ready to go out with him when I came out he was covered in Vaseline from head to toe and there was olive oil all over the room he had made such a mess of the whole room we ende up staying at home as it took me about an hour to clear the mess. Then there was a time I was looking fo my phone for like 2 days I could not find it, for some reason I just thought I forget to throw out the water I had used to mop 2 days ago and when I threw the water down the toilet I heard a "thump" lo and behold my phone, I was so upset because it had a lot of videos of him from day 1, first time he smiled etc which i was planing to download unto my laptop but its all too late now in it. Kids of today are so intelligent, whenever I am shouting he puts his finger to his lips and says "Mummee shoosh". I just laugh and think if na for my time you do this wo toddler or no toddler you go get smacked. lol |

Oh my! I ADORE kids. . . especially in their toddler years. I cannot and so far havent ever carried a newborn baby. They are so fragile and tiny, can't go near. But the toddlers! Goodness. . . they are all very cheeky. LOL. Your cousin's daughter is even older than my niece, Ileri. Ileri is going to be 2years in August. Just yersterday, can you imagine that little toddler asking one of my brothers to SHUT UP?? How she knew that he was refering to her during our conversation was quite alarming. wonders shall never end!! |

I think i'd like to have one of em soon. I like them naughty. I don't think i'll appreciate a gentle and quiet baby, it just won't show continuity. |

I got 3 boys myself. the middle one is a serious, logical analyst. case 1 - It was sunday morning and we were running late for church. he was shown the outfit he would wear for church and he refused to wear it. then the following dialogue ensued mum: But I asked auntie to pick your shirt and show you since yesterday. boy: No she didn't. Mum: Auntie didn't you show him this shirt yesterday? Auntie: I did o. he's lying Boy: Mummy I'm not lying. Auntie showed me the shirt and asked me if it was mine and I said yes. She did not tell me that's what I'll be wearing to church There was a mixture of emotions - I almost laughed at his logic, felt angry at his wayo sense, felt a kind of fear about how to cope with this boy when he would have fine-tuned this wayo sense some years down the line, felt pity for my wife that has to stick through most of their antics. Case 2 - I have just finished a book at influencing people when my son said he doesn't want to go to school again. I tried to apply what I have read by trying to convince him to see what's in it for him. Dad: So what do you want to be in the future Boy: a Lawyer everybody: haaa lawyers have to read a lot o. so you have to go to school boy: OK pastor dad: well, you still need to learn how to read the bible and other books. How will you manage that? boy: Dapo (his senior brother) will teach me Dapo: me that would have gone to school? boy: don't worry, you'll teach me when you get home from school We managed to let him know that nobody was going to teach him at home. He still said "no school". That same night when it was bed time, he picked up a bedtime story book and we all asked him how he was going to read when he's refusing to go to school. boy: that's why I picked the one with pictures. I will simply enjoy the pictures. |

Really all the stories i read is really funny kids are really specials and believe me they are in a world of their own and if you try to figure it out you might get really crazy. Well i have a little niece(Daniella) who is 3 and her best friend Sharon who is also the same age one day i was playing with the both of them and i got tired and told them it was enough but they refused and still wanted to play so a pretended to dead and didn't respond to them my niece was scared and she was telling her friend that i had died and they both killed me.she wanted to cry but Sharon her friend told her not to cry that she'll wake me the next thing she did was to go into the kitchen while Daniella was still watching me and took the wooden spoon(omorogu)before i knew it the crazy girl hit my head they didn't tell me before i screamed and got up and silly girl was telling my niece that i told you his not dead. the other day too my cousin David was asking me if i was older than my dad i said no why in heaven's name will he think that he said because am taller than him(my dad) so i must definitely be older.it took me time to explain to him becos i was just laughing. another amazing thing that just happened of recent was when my neighbor kids came around to play.after a while i decided to check on them to make sure that they are safe and not destroying anything. i met them actually discussing what had happened in Second Chance(a soap opera on AIT for those of you who are not familiar with it) and if you see the way this kids where narrating the story and mentioning everyones name in the soap(even some i didn't remember)i was shocked and it really got me thinking hope they haven't started practicing what they also see them doing too. But seriously Kids of now are extra ordinary smart and should be handle with care, patient and lots of wisdom. |

@ Gamine good work. but tolerate him sometimes. I have one little niece. to say much about her is to waste time. If you sleep on the couch with your two eyes closed, she will cut off your neck with a knife. and I am really serious too troublesome to be . |

@Abubaka I whoop their silly asses, those ones know what they did. @Topic Some time ago, my boo came to my house, i was with my cousin's baby i was so fond of at that time. As he entered the sitting room i hugged him & gave him a light kiss on the lips, occurring to me almost immediately that my little cousin of about 3 was there, i quickly looked his way only to see him covering his face with his two palms & at the same time peeping through. . . feeling guilty i just said "what do u know?" He just went ahead & covered his face the more . . .gosh! then i said "go to the room" . . .he hurriedly left, i was shocked cos, Timi would have stayed put. I was like "Oh God what does he think is going to happen?" My boo just kept laughing |

My little niece Daniella when she was 2\3yrs old was just looking at us as we were discussing her mum in her mums absence. To our own surprise she heard all we said (in our own Language), she just said to us ' You are talking in my Mummy'. We all could not believe our ears. |
