There was a reason why it was initially renamed in the first place people, don't be too quick to agree and affirm just because Fashola says so.

Think objectively on how Nigeria is different from the US, GB, France and Germany, then y'all will understand why it's best that it stays as the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Besides, the name doesn't affect what and how they do what they do, so like WTF

In that case, Calabar should be restored as the Capital of Nigeria and if you go to oil producing countries, the oil producing regions are usually the most developed. NPA should be relocated to the SE region since they are the ones activily involved in Importation. And he shouldnt impose yoruba baba oloja in non-yoruba market.

Fashola should focus on things that unifies the nation and not those that cause division.

Fashola dont forget Lagos was nothing until it became the capital of Nigeria.

Majority of the companies quoted are based in Lagos and the vast majority of transactions are also done there

then if you should go by that way......ogun should be calling for stock market cuz of their vast number of companies

How does changing Nigerian stock exchange to lagos stock exchange affect our lives? Is it going to change the prices of stable foods in the market? I m curious. Is it going to Change the standard of living of the man on the street? Is it going to strengthen our political structure? Etc i m just curious. You want the lawmakers to look at degree simply to change the name. There are better things you could do with remaining part of your time in power than this, something more productive.

The nomenclature of the stock exchange has no economic bearing whatsoever. He should forget that one and give us eletricity in Lagos. I hear PH and Aba now have uninterrupted electricity.

Somebody should tell fashola that there is a Ghana Stock Exchange, Kenya Stock Exchange etc. Nigeria is a unique entity, let's stick to what works for us. If he needs a stock exchange that bears Lagos, the Lagos state govt should establish one afterall some cities have more than one exchange.

What a bunch of i.diots, the oil is going to run out by 2020 and these i.diots are still fooling around.
Lagos is just a mega Slum i cant understand how anyone breathes ,the entire Nigeria stinks once you get out the airport.,only the victoria island is satisfactory because of presence of few whites, companies and embassies there. Black people are seriously doomed its a shame .unless Nigerian population becomes white just forget about it.

Eh ehn na...carry the Atlantic Ocean go the SE. LMAO @ they are the ones actively involved in importation. In fact, not just actively, we all know only the Igbos import; other ethnic groups only export. And you mean Lagos is still the capital of Nigeria?

Nice idea. Very well said.
NNPC should also be changed to NDPC (Niger Delta Petroleum Company) and every association affiliated with petroleum products.

You should always rmbr that NIGERIA MADE LAGOS WHAT IT IS, nt d oda way round.

Certain privileges were brought to Lagos not because it had any resources. If those were decentralised, then you'll see how better the rest could've been.

(I'm nt a tribalist, just a progressive thinking Nigerian. FYI am a mix of YorIgbo)
