X Men: Dark Phoenix

Neither groundbreaking nor terrible, left the cinema satisfied.

Don’t think it’s as terrible as it’s being portrayed online (23% at Rotten Tomatoes for example? Lool gaddamn), it’s a watchable movie.

Some great action scenes, passable storyline with a few cliche parts, basic dialogue. LOVED the main theme song.

Urm, absolutely NO character development for the villains, they were just there…and did bad guy stuff, bleh.

Overall I'd rate it about 6.4

Whiplash

No other movie has made me sweat just from visually examining it. None!

- When he was practicing until he ran out of bandages...
- When he was playing after the car crash, then his final performance/solo...
- Oh God, when the conductor determinately smiled, and the drummer smiled as well...

I've visually perceived over a thousand movies, no question. Some introduced mind-blowing incredible conceptions, some had amazing shots, and plots, etc. None even come close to making you physically feel the movie as much as Whiplash. Simply visceral. I'm still dumbstruck and in awe even as I indite this. It's veraciously on another level. I feel like this is how jazz should sound according to the conductor.

This movie will go down in centuries. Once humanity loses its feelings in favor of higher cognitive potencies, this movie will be homogeneous to a drug that gives you a window into feelings. It's a remedy for psychopathy. Watch it, feel it.

8.8/10.

I think the Dark Tower series was great, the last book of the series I read was The Drawing Of The Three.
I like the fact that racism was set aside in the movie adaptation, Roland the Gunslinger was Played by Idris Elba and Roland was suppose to be a white character.

sometimes i wonder if Stephen King is not an Alien, his mind never runs out of weird stories.

i have read all his books, even the new ones. stevie k is the greatest horror writer that has ever liveth. his wonders to perform.

I personally love that movie, am yet to see a better Punisher movie than War Zone, bar the series that was shut down.
Well I believe the first can come close. Like really close. The philosophical undertone in the movie is what I love.

The first Punisher movie did it for me. I still wonder why it didn't do well though.

I still love: "I leave this as a declaration of intent. Cis Vis Pacem Parabellum...

Life Of Pi 7.5/10

this the second time a story of Indian narrative has impressed me after Slumdog Millionaire.
That dude had it easy despite his difficult journey. Atleast he didn't lose everything unlike Tom Hanks in Cast Away.

Men, I've never felt sorry for anyone like that in my entire life. Even though it was just fiction, I still felt very very sorry for him.

It's the very reason why I watched the movie once and couldn't stomach watching it again.

Damn!.

Stephen King isn't as talented as Dean Koontz. Mr Koontz books are on a whole new level, if I didn't know better I'd say the dude is weird. Probably why they haven't made any movie adaptation from his books (to the best of my knowledge).

Ah no ooo
At least Tom Hanks had an Island to start a secluded life, this guy had a small boat with a ferocious Tiger in that small space, the guy was literally living on the edge of the boat (I mean literally), if he gets too far into the middle of the boat he would have been eaten.

It was in Cast Away I learn the true value of companionship, that Wiltord ball made me feel Tom not to feel alone.

Movies like this makes me see how insignificant man is when it comes to the might of the sea.

The movie works because it defies convention. It is an exposition of an unpopular opinion; an abusive relationship can lead to greatness, and we're short-transmuting people by commending mediocre work.

Genuinely doted this. The final half hour was so tense, and the setup was brilliant. Would've relished to optically canvass some more scenes set in the practice room, but the pacing was excellent without an inordinate quantity of them. After 24 hours of mulling over my phrenic conceptions on this movie, I can't verbally express anything negative - it was amazing.

The worst part of the film for me is the fact that none of the characters is likeable. Besides the mom, we weren't give enough to sympathize with anyone at all. For Brandon, other than some teasing at schoo,l he had it a nice life. His dad for some reason treated Brandon like a kid they adopted at 7. Every kill he committed I didn't feel one way or the other about it. I withal already could tell that he was going to kill his parents because he pellucidly had no emotions towards anything.

Overall, I relished the movie for what it was, a frolicsome spin on the superhero genre, but i just felt like they could have fleshed things out a lot more. Make us want Brandon to be good, make us want his parents to be alive, make us want a sequel. A missed opportunity.

6.5/10
Dude how did you learn the word pellucid?

The worst comic book to movie adaptations I've seen are Catwoman, Fantastic four (2015) and Suicide Squad.
