I am so thrilled with the passionate answers on this thread that I believe in Nigeria again. All I can add is if you EVER EVER let your sibling leave the shores of Nigeria thats it....you have lost her for ever.....I have seen them in Amsterdam Germany Belgium and Italy.. and they all wished they had not taken the plunge...Your mum does not have a friend o....That is the mode for a WITCH. She will be abused and used like a dog. She will end up taking drugs just to live with the abuse. She will do Indecency movies and sleep with 7 men at once. They could introduce horses or dogs to Bleep her.she might have to commit suicide to get away from it all. A word is enough for the wise...God bless you and guide you You will more than be saving a life....your own life is at stake too because the guilt will eat you alive 3 Likes |

My Friend If you truly love your sister A Very Big NO is not enough. Tell Your mum not to ever ever ever try it and rush home, take your sister to wherever you are and let her begin to stay with you. No matter what Let Your Sister Begin To Stay With You. Those guys are dangerous they will do whatever it takes to take your sister away if you do not take any action, Talking is not enough. 2 Likes |

Obinnau: Pls folks. I got a call from my mum this afternoon. She said a lady friend approached her and asked if my mom should allow my younger sis to travel to italy and serve in a hair salon as a braider. That they will be responsible for her visa and paper works. I told my mum NO! And plainly explained that italy is a big base of prostitution cartels, that they lure unsuspecting girls into there trap and force them into the trade once the girls are safely on their hands. Now i need your help and advice, is my suggestion wrong? Can the proposed braiding be what they have in mind? Yes i would like to say my sis is abroad but not as a LovePeddler. The girl in question is 17 years. Doesn't your mother know how to braid? She get leprosy for fingers? She will even do it better and faster and make more money as a grown up woman If there is money waiting to be made in Italy, braiding hair, why send a small girl when your mother is the right candidate Does she want people to cheat the 17 yr old You people should do send off and send your mother there fast fast There are "hairs waiting to be braided " 1 Like |

Purely child trafficking for prostitution purposes. Tell the woman to take you (a guy I suppose) to Italy. Tell her guys are also very good braiders. 1 Like |

/ My question: What is your sister's take on this? If she is up for it....that will be an accident waiting to happen. Hopefully, she won't elope with the "friend" But if she is not willing...CASE CLOSED. Report to the appropriate authorities...most importantly, monitor your sister. We already know what she is going there for...PROSTITUTION (10 years slavery). She go f@ck...madam go collect money---point of no return. \ 1 Like |

Please poster I am begging you on my knees, do not let her go to Italy for anything. The same story was told to my cousin at the age of 17, she became a full time prostitute for 2 years, she escaped from her boss, the second year and tried to raise money herself by prostituting again, she raised almost 6 million naria equivalent but she lost all the money when she was picked and deported. She came back to Nigeria and was a different person entirely. It,'s been over 10 years now, she has since gone back to Russia and I can bet she is not doing anything apart from the same prostitution. The family tried to rehabilitate her when she came but she was already damaged beyond repair. It saddens me that a girl that we grew up together ,playing during Christmas and Easter is now an international LovePeddler. Please I beg you again, nobody braids hair in Italy, Europeans do not braid their hair. So say no you would have saved her life. 3 Likes |

it's not just saying no to your mum. i served in Edo state and i can recall when a woman came back from italy and was openly recruiting girls to take back with her. she was so lavish with money and so sweet talking that parents and girls didn't care, they were ready to go with her. some parents were even angry with their daughthers for refusing the golden chance to travel abroad. i remember arguing with a girl, trying to make her understand what it meant. the woman had bought the girl plenty cloths and paid the school fees for the brother for the whole school period. nothing i said made sense to her. the woman got plenty girls to go with her 1 Like |

@OP my cousin got the same offer like 15years back or so....eventually...she travelled. When she got to Italy...she discovered they were gonna use her for prostitution....one way thing led to the other...they were deported back to Nigeria before they could 'initiate her'. |
Re: Should She Travel To Italy? by bigtt76(f): 7:21am On Dec 21, 2013 |
just sit both your mother and sister down and lecture them on the dangers of letting her go at such a tender age. If you don't do this, your sister will eventually run off without trace ...you don't want that do you? Wise counseling would do the job better than threats as advised here by some people. |
