Point of correction 3.5 million coservative estimate and i know what i am talking about. Don't decieve urself. Free or not, Naija or yankee, makes no difference, they will never meet up (except maybe after the rapture, then they can dance all they want as they prepare for hell while those who believe but were left behind, go underground, hiding). I know what i am saying. I can almost guess you havent been to a pastor Chris crusade before. Jesus still pulls the largets crowds in the world today. Decieve me? huh. Like i love such music. That's music for dead men. No life in it. |

@donnie, Talking about conservative estimates, a report from CE on one of its crusades held in the national stadium some years back said there were over 2million people in attendance. Can you please explain this blatant lie? |

Incidentally the National stadium has a sitting capacity of less than 50,000. I don't know what the staning capacity is though. |
Re: Chris Oyakhilome Is A Phoney by SirJohn(m): 1:44pm On Jun 17, 2009 |
KunleOshob: The sitting capacity is about 55,000 people. If we decide to put both the standing and field capacity at nearly twice the sitting capacity, we have about 100,000 people both standing and on the fields. Now if twice that whole number is at the overflow, we have about 300,000 people outside the stadium (ridiculous though). Now lets do the maths: 55,000+100,000+300,000=455,000 Less than half a million! |

The Bible states clearly that we should not judge, or who will judge us on the last day. This thread is all about destroying a man of God for the sake of evil. Pastor Chris is not what you are making him out to be. Neither is the man he met for impartation, Prophet T.B. Joshua, whether you like it or not. Leave these men alone, as the Bible states. If they are not of God, they will soon fail; if they are of God, you will soon find that you are lying, blaspheming, condemning God Himself. I went to visit TB Joshua a few months ago, amazed at the miracles, deliverances and responses to salvation I have seen coming out of the church. I stayed for 3 weeks, with the intention of staying as a disciple. It was my dream. I had received several certificates of ministry, discipleship and post graduate degrees in church ministry. I was even ordained in Southern California with an American university as an ordained minister of the Gospel. But the teaching and preaching I encountered at The Synagogue Church far surpassed anything my professors and guest ministers ever taught. The level of understanding and discernment of the Scriptures was mindblowing. Scriptures I had studied for years, thought over, debated, researched, were made stunningly clear with a simple word. Astounding! Like I said, I stayed for 3 weeks, following the man of God's teachings and moving with his disciples. I have to say - this is one first class group of people. I was completely unable to keep up with their study, their lifestyle, their degree of commitment to the ministry. 24 hours a day, they attend to the sick, they preach, they teach, they pray for the sick. Even following many American ministers on crusade, I haven't seen this level of prayer services and sheer numbers of sick coming for prayer. And the disciples kept up with every one. It got to a point that my weakness revealed itself as surpassingly greater than my strength and I realized that the class of people I was living with, as a PhD holder and ordained minister myself, were beyond me spiritually and physically. I met the pastor, thanked him for his kindness, care, and commitment to the ministry and packed myself back to my house. What I am saying is this, firsthand I have seen the work of God, the power of God and the anointing of God working in the ministry of Prophet TB Joshua to bring healing, deliverance, salvation, wisdom and understanding to a generation of people without faith and hope. I have been impacted by the messages and the deliverance. I have seen my shortcomings and received prayer from the pastor, believing that God is now helping me to overcome my weaknesses. I have left challenged and changed in my spirit, soul and body. And I have a message for everyone with ears to hear: This man is from God. His message is true. Touch not God's anointed and do His prophets no harm. |

afi768: I started going to the Cenimagoogle(synagogue) since 2000, and I was made to see so many miracles the way they wanted me to see it. You went like any other person, Please, do the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob a big favor, when next you want to go there, look around you, you must see physically challenged people around you, Pls take one along for healing then you will understand what the film show is all about. Or how will you explain this, More than 500physically challenged people with TBJ, instead of healing and prophecies, for at least one, it was wheel chairs and money that was given out. The word of God is against false prophets: Jerimaih 23:28-32 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD. Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour. Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith. Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD. |

Re: Chris Oyakhilome Is A Phoney by donnie(m): 1:40pm On Jun 18, 2009 |
Turn blind eye? I actually saw this reply yesterday but didnt have time to reply as i got much work on my table. The crusade i suppose you are refering to is the Night of bliss held in 2002 at the national stadium Lagos. That was the last crusade we ever had there b/c it was obvious, that the stadium couldnt contain the crowds. The crowds outside far exceeded the one in the mainbowl. It's like lying is your hubby. There was never any such estimate coming from CEC for that crusade. The estimate given for the attendance at that meeting was 500,000 and not 2,000,000. This is another lie coming from Sir John. I am not surprised anyway. It was after that crusade that we started counting in millions. As a matter of fact the crowds began to increase geometrically from 2001 when great persecution arose against Christ Embassy from other churches and groups. In Benin, 1.5 million people attended under torrential downpour of rain. There were miracles everwhere. Several grounds were filled with people who came to witness the power of God. After that, the city of Port-harcourt literally came to a stand-still as 2.5 million people gathered for the night of bliss with pastor Chris. For this one, the main bowl of the stadium was right behind the stage as it served as one of the many overflows which included the yards and rooftops around the area. You would have to walk a long distance from where the crowds began to even site where the stage was. I was an usher in that program and i witnessed how the main bowl was filled up minutes after the gates were swung open. You could not hold back the crowds. I saw a lady faint right before my eyes. I did not recognize my neat suit the following morning as the press was almost overwhelming but for the angels of God at work helping with crowd control. If you climbed to look, all you would see was a sea of heads. The miracles were mid-blowing. Wheel chairs & clutches flew in the air as those they once carried were healed. The Spirit moved over the whole area. A lady who came to church on the sunday thanksgiving in PH testified of how she participated from her house around the area(she was not a member of CEC) and got healed of her sickness. Pastor Chris told the congregation that the annointing they had recieved that night was even on their clothes and that they should take their clothes to the sick and to where the power of God was needed when they leave there. Of course the miracles followed. A friend of mine laid his shirt on a sick relative who fell under the power and got up healed. A woman testified later in church of how she put her dress under her husbands bed before he got back. Her husband was not born-again and she wanted him saved. The man laid down to sleep and woke up in the middle of the night talking in tongues! I dont need to say much about the Good Friday Miracle Night in lagos in 2006 because most of you already know what happened. Over 3.5 million in attendance. That area had never seen such a crowd. Now CEC can no longer hold such meetings anywhere. Where will you advice us to use? These days, its church pastors and campus pastors that are asked to use the stadiums. I recall recently, in Benin, Only pastor Joy's church(apart from the other hundreds of satelite churches we have in Benin) held a program at the stadium and the crowds came. My friend told me about how during the meeting, she came down from the stage and walked up to a lady who has had a stiff neck for long and could not turn her neck. God told me that He has healed you she told the woman after the woman had said what her problem was. Turn your neck now she asked the lady. The lady turned her whole body instead. No the pastor said, you are healed, turn your neck now. the lady turned her whole body again. God told me up there that he has healed you but just to confirm it i will lay my hands on you. She laid her hands on her and the lady goes under the power. Bring her back she asks and then lays hands on her and agian she goes under the power. Turn your neck now she commands and woosh, the lady swings her neck as though nothing ever happened to it. The whole stadium went agog with shouting and jubilation as they celebrated the power of God. The power of the Holyghost is everywhere working with his chosen. The same way we are conquering on land, we are also conquering the airwaves. We hold online meetings where crowds gather in different locations participating at the same time all over the world. We are on major satelites around the world. Amazing grace!! Pastor Chris does not even need to fly around. He just stays at a point and talks to the world. Christ Embassy Carry go! The world is yours! Over to you critics. . . 1 Like |

The miracles were mid-blowing. Wheel chairs & clutches flew in the air as those they once carried were healed. While some people got "healed" some others obviously got injured from the decending wheel chairs and crutches. |

My driver will often say: "thank God for death" How true, we are all mortals (even those who claim to be gods) and one day surely, we will all die and stand before The Most High. And there the deep secrets behind white apparels will be made bare. The sad thing is while we wait for either death or the end of the times, millions are led astray. Lord have mercy! |
Re: Chris Oyakhilome Is A Phoney by Backslider(m): 5:55am On Jun 19, 2009 |
@fyneguy What is "as unto spiritual" Mr Chris life style is screaming Carnality of the highest order. If an angel came to tell me that Pastor Chris is a true man of God I would not agree. What makes us spiritual? The word bible says he has set his word above all. Every deed thoughts gesture would be judge by the word in the spirit of love and you know the God is love. But yet he hateth sin and the bible says he is angry with the sinner day and night. So if we bring the Message of an angry God and also bring the message of a loving God, have we erred? |
Re: Chris Oyakhilome Is A Phoney by fyneguy: 8:57am On Jun 19, 2009 |
Backslider: Yes Mr Backslider, you have erred and one shouldn't expect less from a backslider. May God bring you back to the fold, if you were ever there before God is never angry with those of us in ZION God can not be angry with whom He declared His righteousness!(we didnt earn it by works- it's a gift ) Again, that may be too big for a carnal mind like you to handle. May be you would now understand why WE cant speak to you as unto SPIRITUAL |
