Babel wants to come o

Ajax's ace Ryan Babel has stated his desire to play for Arsenal. The North London club have been keeping tabs on the 20-year-old attacker.

Babel has been praised by Holland national team boss Marco Van Basten as the next 'Thierry Henry', and he wishes to play under manager Arsène Wenger.

Babel is a vital member of the Holland Under-21s, who have reached the semi-finals of the European Championships at home.

"If I get the chance one day to train with Arsène Wenger it would be a dream," said Babel, who is a close friend of Arsenal front-man and his fellow Dutch international Robin van Persie.

"From when I was young I supported Arsenal. I liked the style, the ambience, how they show themselves on the field - everything."

"I think it's maybe the best league, it's a very high level and there is good football," he said referring to the English Premier League.

We didn't win much when he was with us.He was a destabilising influence in the dressing room.His constant disputes with Ronaldo were well known.We were better off without him.On the pitch,his impact was not as rewarding as before.
