@Busy_body, now I am convinced you are female. I was still doubting - that thinking you are a male hiding behind a mask. I don't think it is fair for me to engage you the way I engage the bad boys here so I will let you be. If not for the respect I have for women, you would have had a "good time" with me. You must admit however that you started this thing off by being disrespectful to me and attacking me unnecessarily in your posting without any provocation whatsoever. Unfortunately, you picked the wrong man to attack. Be that as it may, let me just say that it is not my intention to insult people on this forum without provocation more especially a woman. In view of this, I will like to express my sincere apology to you for everything I said that may have hurt your feelings. Have a blessed week. |

ziontrain: With over 1000 posts combined, keep on doubting I have always wanted to be a man anyway, and I am glad I've been coming across as one Zip it You insulted me first All I said to Seun was that there were two Law Enforcement Officers on hand to help him sanitize his forum, with a third in the form of Ziontrain, who is probably sitting his "background in law enforcement EXAMS" as I What was your response to my humble self? "A primary school student would present better logic . . ." Don't annoy and provoke me to invoke and unleash another of my female hormones on your arse, aiight As for your "you pick the wrong man to attack" comment, ihale agbehot air and no substanceyou want to claim you have skaun skaun like a woman, who dash monkey banana unless you are an okobo, which I know you are not Rest assured, you have not hurt my feelings Eating words has never given me indigestion Moreover, I have got ice running through my vein APOLOGY ACCEPTED, I apologise too |

@Seun Ok, I hereby a citizen police force to enforce compliance? If you notice a "US" or "Canadian" spec car without a VIN, keep harassing the seller until he/shecomplies with the strong recommendation. This is a commercial board. it will be hard to find a neutral moderator. Let us see how far community responsibility can take us. I dey feel u o! You are actually a business genius. You have reacted to the yearnings of the majority and also did not forget the voice of the minority. Has anyone ever wonder why Hotmail, yahoo, gmail etc would not ask you to use your real name as your email address- they make it optional because the site is for commercial purpose as Seun has reacted. Your deafening silence you maintained in the past would have been better than revealing your mission of this board. Johnie Walker says " the whole world step aside for the man who knows where he is going" Keep on walking! @Busy_body You never claimed to be a dealer yet you know so much about car dealership while @Ziontrain who claimed to be a dealer lacks in-depth knowledge of car dealership. I read all that Ziontrain spewed out - nothing suggest to me that he is a car dealer. Anyone can clamour for transparency and honesty on this thread but for Ziontrain to mislead nairalanders with his limited knowledge on car dealership is uncalled for. I think transparency should come from proponent like Ziontrain to tell us his real name, dealership name, address of his office and phone number as I did here https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-176544.0.html#msg2860829 @Busy_body Let me add to your lecture: FYI 1) Total loss is the mode d'employ jargon used by insurance firms to describe any car they cannot be arsed to repair, they pay the vehicle owner and then sell the car on as salvage. 2) After the salvaged vehicle is repaired and passes the state's inspection, a rebuilt certificate or assembled from salvage parts is issued, then the car is once again fit to be driven. 3) A car that is not redeemable is issued with a certificate of destruction or a non rebuidable title so that they could be sold on for part. 1) Total loss does not mean a car cannot be repaired. A car is termed salvage because the insurance appraiser estimates that the cost of repair of an accident car will be more than the actual market value of the car before the accident. 2)In Canada, after the salvaged vehicle is repaired, it is taken to Structural Safety Inspectors who charge a fee to measure and straighten the vehicle by up to millimeter accuracy using frame straightening machine with 3D computerized measuring system. Thereafter, structural safety certificate is issued follow by a mechanical safety standards certificate which expires 36 days from the day of issuance. With these 2 certificates and a vehicle emissions test report for registration at the license office will result in labeling the car REBUILT then the car is once again fit to be driven. 3)In Canada such a car is called IRREPARABLE and not fit to be driven in North America. It is worth to note that a flooded vehicle is classify as an irreparable car while a salvage car is not. In some states in the USA like Texas both salvage and irreparable vehicle are classify as SALVAGE. @Ziontrain 1) You concluded that CARFAX is the best. Have u tried others?CARFAX is basically telling you the history of the vehiclce- nothing current while CARPROOF is REAL TIME 2) It is not against the law to advertize a car without vin in the US, it is only applicable in some states 3) Vin listing in advert will not assist you in your noble cause of transparency and honesty on NL |

How do you fight a cause (transparency & honesty) under anonymity? I had earlier advised you in the first page of this thread to check your facts before posting - many are on auto section of nairaland to learn from dealers, share ideas and buy cars. @jafour I am not ziontrain but think i can help u out. Ziontrain could be a cool guy out there doing his biz in a honest way that you hardly notice his present. We have User names that keep sanity in this forum, their real names, biz address and any form of contact are not important here for security reasons. Your concerns should be;- 1.Is what ziontrain saying the truth or false. 2.Is ziontrain attacking user names or activities of the user names. N.B Who that throws a stone in a market place will either gets his relatives or friends hurt directly or indirectly. To be sincere to you, i am here to learn and support this avenue of biz transaction, who knows i could benefit from it 2morrow and wish to reiterate that nothing can stop good people from intervening on the activities of the sycophants. |
Re: Chassis Number Or VIN Is Recommended On Every Listing by Godalone(m): 10:07am On Oct 22, 2008 |
Asking for Ziontrain contact is not the issue here and that he has not advertised any vehicle does not mean that he is not a car dealer. All we want in auto section is transparency and honesty which Ziontrain has been fighting for.I respect all the dealers that advertise there vehicle with VIN.I am not a car dealer but we want sanity in auto section,i can be a victim and you too can be. It is good if all the dealers can follow simple instruction. |

Jafour: I couldn't have agreed more with you, his crusade is more like he's trying to get rid of a major competition who refused to dance to his tune, he's also very impartial, wouldn't be surprise if he's the same person as, anyway that's another case, he keeps saying he's trying to sanitise the auto forum as if buyers are dummies and unintelligent, his sidekick is also always quick to jump and support whatever he says even when it's senseless, take for instant the way he handled the situation of when a dealer posted the picture of a car different from the original car, he keeps going forth and back explaining what might have happened and this is the same guy that was calling burn him, burn him for another dealer just few days back, God help if someone like this becomes a moderator, i know he or his sidekick will come back and say i'm inspired as i've only just registered, yes this is my first post, i've been an observer until know but felt strongly about this, don't get me wrong i'm up for clean trade he's trying to promote it's just that the way he's going on about it is annoying, people can make up their own mind, and the way he goes by when someone doesn't agree with him on the vin issue, i remember how he became insultive to another forum member when he/she stated buyer's beware |

Re: Chassis Number Or VIN Is Recommended On Every Listing by asitis(f): 11:33am On Oct 22, 2008 |
igwe 1: You never cease to amaze me, what has human right got to do with a dealer selling cars, you make me laugh, all i'm saying is that you've made your point now let people make up their mind, unfortunately people would still get duped regardless of campaigns, warning, advice etc. All i'm saying is that stop shoving your opinion into people's faces, and if you have to keep campaigning, (fair enough) make it fair and stop being one sided and chasing after just one person |
Re: Chassis Number Or VIN Is Recommended On Every Listing by asitis(f): 12:45pm On Oct 22, 2008 |
ziontrain: I'm inspired just because i shared a different view from you or because i didn't praise you, hmm, very funny!!!!!, Now, how did i know you'll come back using that tired line, Yawn!!!! ziontrain: You beginning to talk like the boss of the auto section, Seun can make up his own mind, what has it got to do with you? I've said my peace, i dislike any form of injustice, i'm not saying inspired didn't make mistakes, but not only him is guilty as it's being put, remove the plank from your eyes and see clearly, stop being impartial, you're making auto section unpleasant with your constant attacking, live and let live, the market is big enough for everybody. |
Re: Chassis Number Or VIN Is Recommended On Every Listing by asitis(f): 2:17pm On Oct 22, 2008 |
Now i know you truly are a one sided person, so from my posting and English construction, you still can't tell that i'm a different person from inspired, (see the leader), i don't care if you think i'm him or not afterall that's what you always say whenever someone speaks his/her mind, so what have you got to say to the 2002/3 vehicle posted as 2004 by phemmyus, not that i'm condemning him, sure it was a mistake, but being who you are i'm sure you'll have nothing to say to that, get over yourself, your argument is now becoming boring MR POST VIN, inspired did wrong, yes, agreed, what i'm trying to put across here is that you're always being one sided, but i know why because you're also the same person as $$$$$(well you know who you are), like i said earlier, i've said my peace, don't have time for this nitty-gritty. |

Re: Chassis Number Or VIN Is Recommended On Every Listing by ziontrain: 2:33pm On Oct 22, 2008 |
Look here, I am very, very interested in that Phammyus Acura that he posted. I do not have evidence that it's not a 2004 yet and he has promised to post VIN number so let's wait and see. If he does not post VIN after a short while, then we will take up issue with him. I do not believe in jumping on anyone without proof. Secondly, Ziontrain will never have another username on this forum, NEVER EVER! The problem is that crooks always think everyone is like them and so it's not possible for anyone to have one username. Well, I do and always will - no matter what. |

Please note that the reply below is in response to the posting above (which has now been removed) by asitis - I don't know why he deleted the posting but it was about his accusation that I have personal vendetta against Inspired: No, this is not case of Buyer Beware. Buyer will not beware anything! We will not let crooks destroy the reputation of hardworking and responsible car dealers on this forum. If you believe I have personal vendetta against inspired, that's your problem. I don't care one bit about that. All I know is that we will not let him destroy the reputation of the auto section of nairaland. Why don't you mention a word about him (inspired) becoming transparent, honest and upfront about VIN? Afterall, that is what this is all about. Do you think Phammyus and Yahoo will keep on posting their ads without VIN and issue death threats on this forum and everyone will be looking at them? Why can't he just clean up his acts and everyone will be happy to welcome him back into the fold? I believe in redemption and I still feel this inspired can redeeem himself by coming clean. What's wrong with that? |

Re: Chassis Number Or VIN Is Recommended On Every Listing by asitis(f): 4:23pm On Oct 22, 2008 |
@ ziontrain Constant attacking on inspire has appeared as though you've got personal vendetta with him, and No i do not have a problem, just making my point, i've stressed it hard enough today that inspired did wrong but he's not the only guilty one, yes he made a death threat which was very wrong of him to do, but for heaven sake stop this consant attacking and this ganging up thing, we're all adults here not babies, stop shoving your own principle on everyones face, you don't believe in buyer beware fine, but it don't mean everyone feels the same, try to respect other people's opinion, afterall no one is asking you to make a purchase from inspire or recommend him, live and let live. It's a shame that most people that don't share your view won't make comment on the matter, i for one was the same until i felt so strongly about it today and decided to say something about it. About you not having another id, well that's a matter of opinion. I've said what's have got to say and don't have time for slanging match. |

Re: Chassis Number Or VIN Is Recommended On Every Listing by ziontrain: 4:45pm On Oct 22, 2008 |
Thank you @Igwe1. We are against the principle of deception here and not individuals. I just woke up today only to find out that these inspired people are all over me with vicious attack! For the life of me, I cannot understand. See how long it took to build a man's reputation and see how quickly it got tarnished. While this man is busy fighting everybody, Yahoo and Phammyus have redeemed themselves and doing business, babeisme is doing business and he is still stuck where he is running after everybody. Seun banned him for a week, instead of him to use that as an opportunity for reflection, mend his ways, clean up his acts, come back and pick up his business where he left off, he decided to register new user names and fight everybody. So unrepentant! Why won't he just clean up his acts and continue with his business instead of sinking his own reputation day after day. I am yet to find anyone with such penchant for self-destruction. This man still has a chance to redeem his image and is refusing to take the opportunity. He will still be welcomed back by nairalanders. It is not too late but time is not on his side. |
Re: Chassis Number Or VIN Is Recommended On Every Listing by BabyJinx: 5:48pm On Oct 22, 2008 |
@Zionntrain I hate to interrupt the testosterone, chest pounding fest going on here but the last I checked, everyone is bearing their cyber-papa name, so how can one person destroy the reputation of the entire auto section? Patapata what will happen is that the buyers, who are not stupid by the way (I feel the need to reiterate that fact) will go with the person who they trust, the person who follows the rules and the other person who doesn’t. . . well they lose don’t they? They only way this affect the entire section is if everyone one is posting under one name. . . say for instance, this was NAIRALAND CAR DEALERSHIP and no one knows who is who. Your gbimgbim stance was admirable in the beginning but now you’re just becoming a bore and bully. By the way. . . you really need to stop with the "Change their ways" speech, you sound like a pretentious bore and this is in addition to the ordinary bore ooh. PS Please don't come back and say you are against deception. . . like who isn't but we got it the first 100000000000000000001 times you said it, enough already. People are getting tired of coming to the auto section, only see grown men whining. . . abeg carry it to the children forum of the family section, jare. |

ziontrain: If you going to make a point make a point, i made my point and i stand by it, stop calling everyone inspired when they make their opinion known, don't know why some people like taking pain killers on behalf of people who didn't ask them, people are capable of making their own judgement you know. |
Re: Chassis Number Or VIN Is Recommended On Every Listing by youngmill(m): 6:34pm On Oct 22, 2008 |
@ ziontrain I'm sure by the time i finish this i will also be call inspire. i read through most of this post but all i can say is let people make up their own mind. But i have to admit though that i've thought you are one sided on all this matter. You keep on screamming on a particular dealer but keep taken cool approach on the other, the best thing is to just leave everybody and let them make their choices, you're driving people away from these section because of what is not even your business, all i can say is buyers beware, make thorough check before payments. |
Re: Chassis Number Or VIN Is Recommended On Every Listing by igwe11(m): 7:08pm On Oct 22, 2008 |
@youngmill I don't know who you’re talking to, but my own contribution is let us not seeing this as victimization. I am once a victim of this biz antics the first time I came into this site, I needed to buy an advertised car following the info given by the dealer but the description was quite deceitful in the model year as I was not too good in some car models and year, I almost fall for it, if not for some good people of this forum. Personally, I am not after any person neither am an auto guru but wish to be in abreast with automobile innovations? If we don't propagate honesty here, the honest once will follow suit and when that happens, everything here will be termed YAHOO YAHOO . I still stand that the power of darkness shall never overshadow the light. I know for sure that one day some day I shall be rewarded for trying to see honest people breathe. |
Re: Chassis Number Or VIN Is Recommended On Every Listing by youngmill(m): 7:29pm On Oct 22, 2008 |
Honesty is good of course, but what you guys are not doing right is the manner by which this is being put, suggestion of honesty has been made, it's now left for people to do as they wish, at the end of the day, if i decided to buy a car from inspire, i don't think i'll consider what ziontrain and co as been saying, i'll make all necessary check, remember what we human beings hate the most is to be told what to do, ohh how i hate to hear "sanitising the auto section" We are adults not children. |

If people can trust every happening here, don't you know it will be a big relief to people that want to buy anything. simple contact your Naija dealer get a good bargain. Do u know how many days i search google for Nigerian car dealers b/4 i found myself in this site. |
