It would flabbergast me if McCain wins, heck Bush won twice. After the second win for Bush I decided nothing in American politics would shock me. . . except Obama would get this far. I was one of the nay sayers cause I couldn't see Americans getting past their color prejudice to the real issues. . . who knows maybe they have grown beyond trivial matters such as race. I digress, anyways if Sarah Palin with her foreign policy experience of seeing Russia through her window makes it will be four years of amazing comedy. Talk about art imitating life, we can all expect to crack up when she comes out to speak.

81% of people think Obama won the debate according to fox news website.

out of 351,018 respondents

where are TayoD, kobojunkie and the rest of them republican "hired hands"grin
They should have voted with a thousand phone each on speed dial.
McCains own folks on fox have since given up since the electoral projections so far have given him no chance.
Even states like Georgia that are die hard republican base only show McCain leading with 6 points with 2 weeks to go.

We shall see.

The Bradley effect is a proposed explanation for an alleged discrepancy between voter opinion polls and election outcomes in American political campaigns when a white candidate and a non-white candidate run against each other. Named for Tom Bradley, an African-American who lost the 1982 California governor's race despite being ahead in some voter polls, the Bradley effect refers to an alleged tendency on the part of some voters to tell pollsters that they are undecided or likely to vote for a black candidate, and yet, on election day, vote for his/her white opponent.

I intentionally went to fox news site.

Mc cain is a Big disgrace.

Obama now leading him on fox new site by 86% to 14% out of 532,110 respondents.

Maybe they would argue Obama paid people to click away and vote.

McCain said Palin was a role model to women does that include you? Thats an insult to my woman Palin a role model to my chic? I would divorce her immediately. I would prefer her to make Brittany Spears of Anabel Chong her role model

I remember you all grin
Including I-man aka 4 play and jesoul and a host others who have since fled these topics when their prophecies turn out to be false
lipsrsealed
I also remember the heated arguments  grin
The only time I doubted his candidacy was when he declared he was running.
At the very beginning, that freezing day in Chicago
My hubby and I both echoed that this country may not be on his side.
But the moment we heard news he overtook Clinton by a long shot in fundraising,I became a supporter.
Most of his financial contributors are ordinary folks giving 10, 50 and 100 dollars and if they raised millions and millions that meant his supporters were in their millions
.
Someone yesterday said the whites were only supporting him to later turn to McCain
That's bull!
People would donate hundreds of hard earned  money and thousands of man hours in vain?
The guy has raised money more than any presidential candidate ever
They have offices everywhere with paid and unpaid volunteers.
Most are young college students who actually took time off their studies.
That's impressive.
I always believed in him
Racism does exist ,no doubt but if it were such an overwhelming factor in this race,he would have dropped off when Bill Richardson and Dennis Kucinich left.

I'm sure if she was Sarah palin-like your paths would never have crossed.
A vindictive liar.
The skeletons in her cupboard are uncountable.
She lacks moral character and yet people want to entrust the nation in her soiled hands.
They talk of family, family, look at hers
Look at McCain's
A man who suffered and waited for her POW husband to return
and when he returned,he came back with broken limbs and unable to function properly.
She nursed him back to health only for him to desert her after she was involved in a car accident

Obama is with his first and only wife, his college sweetheart
Biden  was also married to a childhood sweetheart and inow married to a second wife because his first wife passed away.
They are obviously of better moral character and have shown it through out the campaign

I reserve my comments but heaven knows that the polls you guys cling unto are nonsense. John kerry was leading GW Bush at the polls but what happened. Ronald Reagan was behind in polls by double digits but then what happened. Obama and his supporters are pathethic, they use every weapon possible to attack any naysayer in their Arabian politics. He couldn't look McCain in the face and deny he is the one attacking him incessantly. Even Obama agreed yesterday night that SARAH PALIN is well qualified to lead America. I laugh everyday because the pathetic obama and his cohorts in Nairaland are already citing racial bias as a possible reason why they will fail without looking into Obama's fault and why McCain may have leverage over him.

America is in turmoil now and we need the maverick to fix things coupled with his VP that is more experienced than Obama. undecided. @osisi my sister wink

nelson mandela spent 27yrs in prison, when he was released he divorced his wife and married another. it didnt stop him from being a hero of global magnitude. why would mccain be painted evil for doing a similar thing. do i racism here? we dont know why they separated. details of divorce causes are usually kept secret. it's their private life. every successful marriage is by God's grace. one f-ck up by one person and the thing go scatter regardless of who is the villain and who is honest. and also, both may be good people but very incompatible. just leave them marriage outside this. . . . .

@deepzone

while both of us may be mccain supporters, i definitely do not share ur thoughts that obamas supporters use arabian politics. that kind of statement is repulsive, and that is being very polite. john mccain is an honorable man and this kind of republican politics do not describe him. his campaign was hijacked by the republicans but i still believe when this is over he'll establish himself as a maverick in the oval office. i support him b/c of his independence and morale. also i lean republican in principle. he is a good man, unlike rudy of romney. john will lead america. yes he will

Obama never ever said Palin was qualified enough to lead America. The major point he talked on was her having a special needs child and basically said "good things" about her.
The same type we hear ministers say at funerals.
Afterall they say it's rude to speak ill of the dead so every preacher says nice things even over the dead bodies of bonafide crooks and ritualists.
That was the type of compliment he paid her.
His hands were tied.
He couldn't call her the mumu that she is for fear of being labelled a "woman hater"

In America, a dumbo has been president, governor, senator, congressman, etc. Sarah Palin is the dumbo we suspect and know she is. Nothing is going to change that fact.

Did you hear McCain on the Columbia issue, how dare he say Obama hasnt travelled down south when his running mate just got a passport last year. Did you see his reponse when Obama talked about the repression of Labour rights there.

Joh McCain is a very shallow individual, he couldnt even explain his own health care plan and education, i have heard others explain that plan better.

Americans themselves already know Obama aint going nowhere but hey, let him be splashing money around and recycle our economy. He is even sponsoring ACORN and their illegal activties. Does he think that this is Nigerian election where the north produce voter registration cards and rig results?. I am sorry for that pathetic man whose inexperience is the real reason why he still believes he will win. The loser was avoiding questions like hell last night and Nairalanders still under the Obamatic euphoria are here clapping for his idiocy. From my own perspective, McCain scored 88% while that Ayer partner scored about 12%. Let him go back to Chicago and run for their mayor, may be he will have the opportunity to cheat on his ugly wife with Tina bitch Fey.

Please do not compare Nelson Mandela with John McCain. John McCain is only significant to some Republicans and a few Independents in America. Nelson Mandela, on the other hand, is a titan of our age!

The facts. The divorce of Nelson Mandela and Winnie Mandela was "fuelled by political estrangement" and not "physical attractiveness". John McCain divorced his wife after she got into an auto accident and her body was badly broken, seven years after he came back from his POW experience. This woman waited for him throughout. Even John McCain has admitted in his book that he regrets his actions and puts the blame of the failure of the marriage on himself.

John McCain is a typical woman-wrapper who runs after any pretty thing in skirts. That crude animal instinct is what drove him to choose Sarah Palin after only viewing her pretty behind once or twice. McCain started sleeping with Cindy even before he divorced his previous wife. That one, McCain, cannot and should never be compared with a universal icon as great as Nelson Mandela!
