And the manufacturer would also do all it can to lobby pentagon to get clearance to sell such an item.

Both the CH-47 Chinook transport helicopter and the Sikorsky CH-53 Sea Stallion (which Israel uses) are US aircraft (helicopters) and will need their (US) clearance before they can be resold.

The US has very stringent conditions upon which such arms sales are based and even when they do sell, they rarely sell the latest version or with the their full complement of features.

The CH-47 and the Mi35 are not in the same class. The CH-47 can carry between 33 and 55 troops while the Mi35 takes up to 8.
