why not . .though it wasnt part of me, until the day i learnt my lessons, swallowed a very hot eba that stuck in my throat, it burned like hell and there was no water close by, before i got to the fridge in the kitchen, my throat saw hell . .since then. . .i learnt to keep water close by just incase of a eating mishap.

its helpful to drink water after the food is completely digested, this helps the digested food to be circulated very easily throughout yor body, I have been doing that for a while now and I can see the result. it takes about 2-3 hrs for food to digest. the best practice is to chew your food, before swallowing it, when you do this, the food mixes with some enzymes in your saliva which helps digestion.
