What you are doing now is called Monday morning quarterbacking
Did anyone invested in this case propose any of those your reasons as pitfalls at the various times this came up?
No
The argument was that I was jumping ahead of myself
In fact I was accused of wishing DJ cancer and death
They told us they needed to get tests results and a definitive diagnosis and I wrote in bold that we have wasted enough time testing
Isn't it the same donors that sent him to the hospitals he had been to that will send him to India?
Was the money to India ever mentioned as the reason why that option was never considered seriously?
NO
So why bring that up now?
I don't remember you being active on this thread, you may well go and read the conversations many pages away
How will anyone talk about the cost to India when it wasn't an explored option at the window of time we had to do it?

I contacted India doctors months ago when the diagnosis was chronic liver disease dz and a possible transplant needed and 90% of posters here came down on me,go and read those posts.
I have sent a relative to India on a stretcher,it is not rocket science to go there
I know the process of getting a medical visa to India and I had spoken to their travel coordinator about DJ's case with my own phone
What I lacked was an enthusiasm on the site that this was even an option
Ask members of Tehns if I didn't plead with them way back to take the results so far to fortis for their impression and possible estimate
News of DJ feeling better and the diagnosis of liver abscess that was under control entitled posters to call me a witch basically

I wish the most likes on a post could translate to positive outcome, we won't be here today
Unfortunately it doesn't.

I believe I don't have anything more to say
I am done with the topic for now and will just watch events like any other person with fingers crossed.
Your turn.
I will gladly call you out on this
A member of the group already said in November that travelling out would not be easy due to cost hence the need for prayers. I dint know what you gain from lying but as a tribalist who Babyosisi is (I can dig up your threads and posts) you are lying.

It wad mentioned here that the money was not sufficient to take him to India

Now its getting stupid so she wants Djola dead because he is Yoruba abi? Clown. When she was shouting India and get passport ready they shouted her down told her she was predicting doomsday, when his stomach was drained they celebrated and called her a fake doctor who wanted to kill him before his time.

After the series of tests and it seemed it was going nowhere she raised india again and was shut down because they said they didnt have a diagnosis even when she was consulting and providing one they now said she is a quack internet doctor.

December I became worried and said we should kick off fund raising since funds had been depleted I was ignored and the merry go round of tests continued.

I wont respond to you anymore my only interest now is we do whatever we can do for him not all these ego pushing and attacking and hovering like witch craft.

Hmmm mm....and then at the end of the day we'll scream that life is unfair when God has made everything possible for us. We'll blame God for our own mismanagements.

I was afraid to ask how Dj was doing, thanks to the neighbour for the update.

@Dj no matter what happens, it is well with you.

Dear Xyz

Greetings from Fortis Healthcare India!!
Thanks for your query.
We have received your query regarding Treatment at Fortis Hospitals.
Fortis Hospital is the largest hospital chain in India and is one of the largest in Asia. All the Hospitals in the chain have state-of-the-art infrastructure. The technology used is most modern and in compliance with International Standards. Fortis Group is famous for high success rates and medical outcomes.

We have Liver and Kidney Transplant specialists in Fortis Healthcare Ltd who have been doing many transplants a day. A liver transplant cost is USD 42,000 and the patient needs to get with him/her a blood compatible donor. Kindly find attached the details regarding transplant.
Also, I was hoping if you could please send me the medical reports of the patient so that I can take an opinion from the doctors here regarding kidney transplant.
I am here as a true friend and would help you in every possible way. Please feel free to contact me anytime at+91-9582801864 in case of any doubts.

Kind regards,

Dr Divya Verma | Deputy Manager- International Business | Fortis Healthcare Limited
This is from Babyosisi herself when she was still here scream liver and kidney problem. This is the price they quoted for you. Which prompted them to stick to Nigeria and hope the tests bring something else.
The same Babyosisi was the one shouting Livet and Kidney from wherever she was when that was not the problem wait for test no. Now she is screaming cancer

It doesn't appear that option is even possible now from the look of things

I thought I already addressed this idiocy from Idowu now you
How did we talk about liver and kidney
Were those my diagnosis or the working diagnosis from eruwa?
Did I come up with those diagnosis

Look
It is noble for you and some others to admit here that you messed up big time
We now have a patient in critical condition and you are still here talking nonsense when you all prevented this case from moving forward because you wanted to be right by all costs

From the onset, the mission was to take him out of naija right from Eruwa.
Things changed, hide and seek game came to play etc.

How do you take him from Eruwa to India when you did not have a diagnosis from Eruwa? From Eruwa a patient has to be stabilized and then diagnosed.

I apologize for making the contents of that email known ,some of these folks left me with no choice
I had tried to ignore all the snide remarks in the last two days but then someone coming out repeatedly to ask us to give a way forward got me incensed.in all my mails I had never faulted Tehns one bit and still do not
My whole frustration is with the hospital
They, Tehns have known the way forward ,it is there in my email
I didn't post all our back and forth email, there were more and in everyone of them I had expressed a sense of urgency and never backed away from the India angle even when people called me names because I know many nigerian hospitals are limited in their scope.

To the members of Tehns, please gather all the results ,the labs, the scans ,including the cytology and send it to Apollo hospital in India immediately.that is the way forward since this hospital has reached the end of their expertise.
When I expressed urgency in getting a passport, people rained insult on me and even accused me of not wishing DJ well
You need that passport now and this is Christmas time.
It won't cost a thing however for the India folks to give you an impression or differentials what this could be, and give you an estimate of cost of treatment if there is anything they can do (they will do their own tests eventually ).
I already provided those details to you when I forwarded you the email with the coordinating doctor's details including phone number.

Since this hospital is still withholding the last scan result and are doing a song and dance with diagnosis, jumping from pillar to post, you can't wait forever
This is very very very very urgent IMHO
Even though I want to be very very very wrong

This is not a time of who is right and who is wrong

Will the doctor shoot you down if you ask him point blank

Hello ma'am. Thanks for your concern. At least now we have an update. I know you are concerned about your neighbour but you seem to have information we don't.

I live in Lagos and I'm quite familiar with the case. Would you be kind enough to reply my mail so we can start looking towards your direction as well? Perhaps that would help DJ as well. We all want him to get better. That's why we are here.

As far as I know, none of the doctors have given him how much time he has left and others that have seen him are hopeful INCLUDING ME.

Please help us here. What do you think we haven't seen but you can see? A tree doesn't make a forest. We have a serious situation on our hands and I'm seriously pained by the results.

Kindly reply my mail. Or you can go ahead and open it all here so everybody can be in the know, as long as it won't affect DJ.

Update

24 December 21:10pm

On Monday 22nd, the field officer was able to accompany Hamed to Lakeshore Cancer Center in Victoria Island.

Registration at the hospital and Consultations with the oncologist were done and some tests were prescribed to identify the source of the malignancy.

It is instructive to state that we now have two doctors working with us behind the scenes helping via email to make sense of the tests and recommended treatments.
Also LCC does not admit patients.

The oncologist has recommended he continue the drug regimen for abdominal TB in the meantime at the Life Specialist where he is being stabilised.

We intend to do a Laparoscopy to have a clearer picture and we are working on that

The following hospitals were contacted

1. Reddington - No response as they said they with only provide a quote upon referral

2. HCG -an Indian hospital too was contacted but the opinion of the consulting doctors is that chemotherapy and the treatment plan recommended may not be beneficial for the patient

3. Paelon Memorial - they are fully booked for the year.

4. Eko Hospital- they don't perform such a procedure

5. AVLSC was contacted but they are fully booked.

Hamed is at Life Specialist and will be there over the XMas period

If you are chanced, he will appreciate your prayers and visits.
Once we are informed due to the hospital protocol, the field officer can facilitate a visit

Also please for those who are able, keep the donations coming in as the necessary tests and the operation to determine the growth seen will most likely be done in the new year.

TeHN
This was posted on the 24th of December last year. Notice that they listed an Indian hospital among those they consulted with and yet our dear Tribalist Osisi has been running het fingers that they did not look at the angle.

If by the 24 of last year this was the update wad anyone expecting anything to be be done between then and the first week of January this year?

You people do not appreciate the sacrifice these people have taken and it is sad

You shared that mail December 19th right?

19th is a friday they came with an update in December 24th which is a wednesday that they have contacted HCB hospital in India!!!

I don't think you are also aware that that period from December 21st to 5 January in Nigeria was basically holiday season and no hospitals will be operating in that capacity.

Which means they would have to wait until January to have the tests, wait for the results and from the dates up there, they mentioned that they started January 6th this year and got the results and everything this week.
