When I said prior to the elections that the promises these APC guys were making were empty promises, Nigerians were too blinded to see the lies... They were caught up in all the noise and propaganda.

I remember the first speech made by Buhari at APC's Presidential flag off in Rivers - he said it will take time and patience... but everyone ignored it cause that's not what they wanted to hear... Today, the noise is down and you have no choice but to hear it!

To this end, i'd like to look at the promises you listed: 1. I'm inclined to believe that you are a graduate in search of employment. While you can be consoled that you are not alone, you should know that attaining such with the present state of the economy is not feasible. A simple analysis of the costs of such venture, by Soludo, puts it almost at par with our national budget. 2. I'm not an economist but i tally with those who think that such expression is a joke taken too far! Where's the reserve to support such venture? 3. Judging from events that followed the 6wk extension, I would have to be convinced that BH are not a creation of the PDP, who were demobilized to score some political points. Hope they are decommissioned as well. Nonetheless, I expect brute force to be used against them should they insist on proceeding with their acts of terrorism. 4. As an engineer, i know it takes no less than 2yrs to set up a power plant, meaning that's another hogwash except there are ongoing power projects, with such capacities, to be completed before the birth of the ones to be undertaken by the incoming administration. Talking about wiping out corruption, we would know if a genuine effort is made to curb it. That is why I'm particularly miffed by the fact that Jonathan is being promised a soft landing. If Jonathan's tenure is not probed and scapegoats made, then Buhari's administration may never succeed.
