WMD are not stuff which can simply disappear without trace

Nuclear stuff leaves tell tale signs of contamination howsoever minute , which can easily be verified for weapons grade stuff

Biological stuff need high bio security facilities , one which one cannot simply dismantle due to threat of outside contamination during same

Chemical stuff same , there will be tell tale signs huge signs infact

There was simply no WMD otherwise Western media would have paraded it non stop given it was the reason they gave for invading Iraq

As I for Kurds I support them , they suffered much , if required Saddam could have been forced to negotiate with them , without invading , if Kurds were the concern for West.

Ironically West ( governments ) left Kurds subsequently to their faith at the hands of ISISI
Need I tell the faith of the yzidis at the hands of ISIS ?

Who created ISIS in the first place , one doesn't need to pull the trigger to be the murderer, one who creates condition with the express purpose of creating a murderer is more guilty

ISIS was allowed to be created to draw jihadis from Europe ( and elsewhere ) into the open, it was a intelligence operation

As for Russia I don't give a fuk , but understand this for the sake of weaker nations, that weaker nations need options to play against coercion by either side ( east or west ) one power block against another to safeguard their own interests , otherwise without options they will be open to exploitation

China is enemy , I would not mind it being brought down a notch , but not at the expense of it being made irrelevant , because if china is made irrelevant vis a vis west, next target for West will ind. , after that your country and so on

Multi polar world must be maintained to ensure one side doesn't exploit the weaker countries

As for morality and justification West is an piss poor example

Syria , Iraq , Libya etc
They supported dictators around the world who did large scale genocides eg Cambodia etc

The West who considers itself champion of free speech and democracy has blocked all and any Russian media in almost all platforms while it does it's own propaganda

Where is free speech now , free speech is tied to having unfettered access to all sides . Who are they to decide for others

Canada crushed the truckers protest by any means possible yet AI , UN , UNHRC had nothing to say yet they and ironically Canada went gaga over protests in other countries

Western media and both their govt and non govt agencies are nothing but tools to further their agenda

Even though I don't support Russian invasion , Putin had valid reasons for his own justification , West kept expanding NATO towards Russian borders despite assurances not to do so , same West almost went to war bec of Cuba

What is good for the goose is good for the gander

That guy is a lost cause.
Your post will be educative only if he accept the truth but we all know he is already conquered like many westerners which re suffering from massive americana amnesiac syndrome.
Even if u play all this in audio recording to his ear, they escape through the other ear, All I can do is pity that poor lad.

On another comical side. intelligent liars be like

I saw pictures of the soldiers killed by bandits in Kebbi yesterday, it was a gory picture.

The Government needs to do more about this bandit issue.

They have gotten so bold.

The bandits are not bold, they are more afraid of dieing than you think.
What the NA needs to do is stop clustering anywhere and calling it base.

They were not ambush.

The bandits attacked the village the soldiers were protecting few days ago.

Is this same bandits that killed over 50 vigilante about 5 days ago in that village.

They knew security personnel were there, so they came in large number to attack

The security personnel were overwhelmed.

That's what i am saying soldiers are dying needlessly because of clustering in places they can't defend, I didn't mention any ambush in my post

This bandits issue has gotten out of hand. Funny thing is, no one is even talking about it. And when I mean "no one", you guys understand what I mean.

People keep dying everyday and it seem as if it's flies that are dieing.

Even the little noise made on social media about banditry is been muffled by people who I don't even know what they gain out of it.

BE PROFESSIONAL IN YOUR CONDUCT: THEATRE COMMANDER OPHK CHARGE TROOPS IN DAMASAK.

The Theatre Commander Joint Taskforce ( JTF ) NorthEast Operation HADIN KAI ( OPHK ) Major General Christopher Gwabin Musa has charged troops to be professional in their conduct in the performance of their operational responsibilities in the fight against insurgency in the North East region.

According to the TC, the Chief of Army Staff ( COAS ) Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya as one time Theatre Commander is conversant with the operational situation of the North East and has therefore, provided all the resources needed to prosecute and end this war against the Terrorist group.

He further stressed that with the much needed resources provided by the COAS therefore, troops must reciprocate by using the equipments professionally in order to end the menace of terrorism in the region.

General Irabor: In Fighting Insurgency, Sometimes You Lose a War to Win It

March 14, 2022 3:47

Chief of Defence Staff, Lucky Irabor, has reiterated the Nigerian Army’s determination to end terrorism in collaboration with national security and defence stakeholders. In this interview with selected Editors, Irabor discusses the evolution of terrorism worldwide, noting that extremism is not unique to Nigeria. The defence chief also explained the armed forces are doing differently to fight insurgency to the finish. According to him, the armed forces are more prepared for all scenarios. Excerpts:

How have the strategies used to fight terrorism in Nigeria evolved?

Some of our tactics have changed, but our vision remains the same – We want to bring an end to the beginning of all terrorism. We are achieving these in collaboration with stakeholders in national security and defence. Globally, terrorism has evolved in the last two decades. The case is not different in Nigeria. What we are doing differently is to be ahead of this evolving trend. The Armed Forces of Nigeria is more prepared for all scenarios.

Unfortunately, it will do us more harm than good if we go public to reveal all we have done or what we have stopped doing or will do. The good news is that in all scenarios, Nigeria will win. Let us never forget the words of Winston Churchill, ‘Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.’

Since the war against Boko Haram/ISWAP started, the military has lost some major battles in the North East. What is being done to avoid future defeats?

A better way to look at it is that in the last 20 years, the military has won major battles in the North-East. We have won most of our battles, and that is why we are winning the war. This is not just an opinion. It is the fact. The most recent evidence from the Global Terrorism Report confirms this. A war is made up of several battles. In a perfect world, you plan to win everything, but perfection never happens in war. Sometimes the way forward is backwards. Sometimes you lose a battle to win the war.

There has been a recent wave of military takeovers in Africa? Is the military approach a remedy to poor governance?

First, let me make it clear that the probability of non-democratic leadership in Nigeria is zero. Rather than go back to our past, we have learnt from it. It is no longer an option. We are passing this message down the ladder. Like Nigeria, other African countries must strengthen their democratic processes rather than subvert them. Our findings reveal that one main reason for these negative events is when a leader overstays and loses focus. This causes government institutions to weaken, and eventually, the non-democratic take over.

Some security stakeholders believe that the final stage of the war against terrorism will be faster if the country hires foreign fighters (mercenaries).

Where lies the loyalty of the foreign fighter? To Nigeria or self? The men and women of the Armed Forces fight to protect Nigeria, not because they are paid to do it. It is because they, we see it as a duty. Certainly, we will continue to collaborate with other global powers and defence institutions, but we are not going to outsource our primary responsibility.

What is the military leadership doing concerning complaints from some officers about injustice and unfair disciplinary procedures?

There is a lot of misinformation and disinformation about the administrative codes and procedures of the Armed Forces. Like our global partners, the military does not operate with court orders. A court-martial is different from a civil court. The military has means to maintain discipline and order.

How much support is the military getting from non-governmental organisations, especially on the non-kinetic approach to rebuilding peace?

Just as nobody can use only one finger to write, the Armed Forces of Nigeria cannot right all the wrongs in security by itself. There is a lot of work that some of these organisations have put in, especially to protect women and children in the North East. A lot more still needs to be done on the non-kinetic approach to achieving peace.

MOST WANTED ISLAMAFASCIST ISWAP TERRORIST SANI SHUWARAM KILLED

ISWAP'S REIGN OF JIHAD AND TERROR IS OVER

Daily Post Nigeria

Nigerian forces kill ISWAP leader, Sani Shuwaram Published on March 20, 2022

By Wale Odunsi

Islamic State’s West African Province (ISWAP) leader Sani Shuwaram, is dead, according to PRNigeria.

In November 2021, the ISWAP Shura (Judicial) Council installed the 45-year-old as the new Wali (Head) in Lake Chad.

Shuwaram and other terrorists were eliminated after aerial bombardments carried out in Marte Local Government Area of Borno State.

Super Tucano jets flown by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) rained missiles on a number of identified ISWAP hideouts.

Shuwaram reportedly died from gunshot wounds sustained in the strikes that hit the sect’s camps at the Sabon Tumbun area of Lake Chad.

“Shuwaram was among terrorists injured by NAF air interdiction missions conducted at Sabon Tumbun near Kirta Wulgo.

“Subsequent strikes to his death alongside other ISWAP fighters receiving treatment including Abu Ibrahim”, a military officer confirmed.

NAF Director of Public Relations, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet said air and ground troops have continued military offensive around Kirta Wulgo.

“We don’t want to be dragged into making any statement or confirmation based on rumours or hearsay.

“Nevertheless, troops at the frontline alongside other agencies have sustained strikes against terrorist leaders and their enclaves until we get this job done”, the spokesman added.
