PDP in Lagos state says that the 48-hour silence of Governor Fashola since the Oba of Lagos made death threats to Igbos indicates that not only is Fashola in agreement with what the Oba said, but that the Oba spoke on behalf of the state government.

In a statement released today, the party demanded for the suspension of the Oba until after the elections. The statement reads in part;
"The governor is thus a conspirator in this threat to life and must also be held accountable for any violence in this elections. We have at this point been vindicated about the desperation of the APC to retain Lagos state at all cost including the All Progressives Congress’ plan not to concede the imminent defeat on April 11. The positions of the PDP are coming on the heels of the now viral threat issued by the Oba of Lagos to Igbos that they must vote for the APC Governorship Candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode, or be drowned in Lagos water."

PDP is a foolish party. The fools in the killer party hope to revive their dead electoral fortune by stoking the embers of ethnic hostility. This was the same thing PDP/Jonadunce did that saw them lose woefully in the Presidential Elections.

I only pity Ibos who get carried away with PDP's vile tactic. They'll be left with bloodied nose as usual. PDP will only win Lagos when snow falls in Hell.

It's obvious PDP is trying to cause tribal divisions

You are only deceiving yourself if you think this is all about elections.
The fact is that some southeasterners are making a play for power by disrespecting every local custom, tradition, power structure.
They are essentially testing the traditional powers structure for weakness.
Every omoluabi must stand firm.
Fashola and tinubu have always stood firm and are seen as impediments to a devious strategy.
What actually happened.

1) The manner with which the SW was marginalised that even the dullard in charge had no clue such was happening.

2) the closing of the dirty ladipo market which was the act of a government enforcing the law,and which for some reason,a strange thing for the operators of the market.

3) The removal of destitutes from the streets of lagos
Which sort of reminded them that lagos is not new found land. Lagos is part and parcel of yorubaland. A land which stretches from the savannah on the banks of the Niger to the neighbouring brother country of Benin.

Whether or not Igbos vote Ambode, he is becoming the next governor of Lagos state.
But for the sake of their lives, who are the pawns in this game?
The 2 major contestants are Yorubas but you don't expect a son of the soil like Agbaje present better chances to Igbos than his own people.
Whatever problem occurs eventually its sorry to say that the Igbos are going to be the major victims.
I wonder why they are seeing doom and walking towards it.
The Yorubas have spoken in the presidential election, yet Igbos who migrated believe they can change that?
This is just common sense, why isn't it hard to comprehend they are just pawns and nothing more.
For the Oba to have made that hateful remark can you imagine what he has heard, or what he has been told, or what he has seen?
Igbos please pick your enemies carefully.
Although this is democracy but Yorubas don't disrespect their traditions.
These people will fight not only physically but in other realms for refusing to adhere to their wish in their land!
