We need to sort the RB position. . . . . Hargreaves, Brown, O'Shea, Rafael, Neville are all out injured. How can we lose 5 Right Back defenders in one season?? Fabio will def'ly get a start on wed. |

Back. The match is a walk-over. Sauron, back to our debate: Yeah Ronaldo matured with THAT squad. All the more reason for Nani to develop quicker because he has the benefit of learning from players in their peak, unlike the 2004-2005 team. Who will play right back? Maybe you should, Criz, Paintsil is from Ghana, i think, |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by HNIC(m): 7:48pm On Mar 07, 2009 |
Cristalz:@ Cris John Pantsil is from Ghana!!! |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 7:49pm On Mar 07, 2009 |

Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Sauron1: 7:49pm On Mar 07, 2009 |
Eastbay: We are too strong for Fulham. Fergie is wicked.
Does Nani start enough games?? He has to compete with Giggs, Fletcher, Ronaldo(best playa on the planet) and Park(Asia's best player). U gotta admit. . . . .It's a tough task for Nani. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 7:50pm On Mar 07, 2009 |
Right, Ghana. Stand corrected. Thank you, oga HNIC |

Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Nobody: 8:08pm On Mar 07, 2009 |
Criz, This game is a workout. More like a training session for Wednesday. Heard no4 is in. Sauron, Yes he's not had many starts. But let him make a case with the few he's got. The competition is high, that's why I thin k he ought to up his game.No one can walk into United's first eleven, they have to earn the shirt. At this rate,I'm not so sure he'll last in the team. People felt Fletcher wasn't United caliber. But this season he's proving doubters, myself inclusive very wrong. Nani has to do the same.Remember he has a 17-million pound price tag on his head to justify. When I thin back to the promise he showed last season,I almost weep. I thought he could fit into Ronaldo's shoes easily when it seemed Ronaldo was leaving.Apparently I was wrong. Congrats anyway |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 8:09pm On Mar 07, 2009 |
Ando throws his jersey into the crowd. . .see the rush for it Weird tattoo hez got there. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 8:12pm On Mar 07, 2009 |
@Eastbay Yep, 4 - 0. Fulham decided to roll over after the 2nd goal. Not that I blame 'em, but they were doing well at first. Anywayz, better luck next season Roy. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Sauron1: 8:14pm On Mar 07, 2009 |
Eastbay: U are not being fair. Ronaldo @ 18 woulda been useless if we had bought him this season. He was shyte then Bundle of potentials but his decision-making was awful. The quality we have now is far more superior than what Ronaldo walked into in 2003/4. Cristiano had no competition as a right winger. The closest we had then was Solskjaer!!!!
Fletcher has been with Man Utd for donkey years. Are u aware Fletcher won FA cup with Man Utd in 2004?? He was 19 then. How can u compare him with Nani who is only enjoying his 2nd season. The £17 million price-tag is not Nani's fault. He didn't name the price, Sporting Lisbon did.
Ronaldo's sophomore season was worse than his debut!!! He was total shit in 2004/5 season. Roy Keane was always having problems with him. Nani will do well if Ronaldo leaves. The more he plays, the more he would improve. Ronaldo had that going for him and we didn't have a choice but to belly all his irresponsibilities in em dark ages.
We are almost there. . . . 20 GAMES to complete the Q-word. It's ALIVE!!!! GIVE US THE ARSES. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Nobody: 8:19pm On Mar 07, 2009 |
The main worry is who Fergie picks against Inter Wednesday. Everybody is staking a claim to start. See those silly Chelsea fans, jubilating over beating Coventry. We smashed Fulham at the same cottage they were held. Sauron, Bring on anybody. Are you sure they can beat Burnley?I doubt it seriously.Burnley would have to defend like West Brom did on Tuesday for Arsenal to get anything from the game.West Brom even scored against them!!! Tufia!!! |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Sauron1: 8:24pm On Mar 07, 2009 |
Eastbay: We should leave Dimitar on the bench. I have a feening Rooney-Tev-Ronaldo combo would give us an edge.
Chelsea would be knocked out in the next stage. They are winning nada this season but Essien was magnificent today.
Arsenal would kill Burnley. The FA cup is their best shot this season. . . . .Wenger won't be messing around tomorrow. I expect em to bludgeon Burnley but i want em in Wembley next month. It's about time we pop shots at Almunia. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Nobody: 8:31pm On Mar 07, 2009 |
Sauron, Burnley will put of a fight. It's not a dead certainty.I can boldly say that game will go to a replay, Essien was magnificient. He usually is. Quintuple. Dont want to start dreaming. But with each passing game, the word becomes reality.I heard there's no such word as that.My dictionary is missing.Any wordsmiths in the house? Berba on the bench is a good idea. When Inter see the running of Tev-Roo-Ron,they will not cope.Berba slows things down to their pace.Probably why United didn't punish inter at SS. |
