nateevs: The 2 London clubs are just at the 2 extreme of the divide. My team Arsenal parades "foetus" and everyone castigates Arsene,LPS on the other hand have sloppy senile players whose grey hair is hidden by dye Different strokes for different gaffers.Chelsea and Arsenal are two teams that have conspired to give Man U the EPL trophy,or so it seems I wish it could be different. Nateevs, B T W,the embolded are CLASSICS and like the scummies will say,MINT Also Switch's prophesy seems to be comin true, and annoyingly so |

Age means nothing in football albeit african players one. In 2004/5, Claude Makalele was in my opinion the secret of our winning the premiership and he was by far the best in that position in the world at that time. Do you know what? He was 31/32 years at that time. Because he was born in congo i believe he is even more than that |

Do you know that; ## Van Der sa is older than Petre Cech ## Rio Ferdinand is older than John Terry ## Gary Neville is 34 years old and he is older than Bosingwa |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by kaypumpin2(m): 8:14am On Feb 02, 2009 |
Ako,in response to your questions! Van Der sa is older than Petre Cech(Van Der Saar is not any better than Cech,Cech's defence has been a let down this term so far) Rio Ferdinand is older than John Terry(Rio has a "beast" of a defender as a partner in Vidic.Vidic for most part of United's season, does the hard and dirty job) Gary Neville is 34 years old and he is older than Bosingwa(Are you insinuating Gary is better than Bosigwa on present form ) |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by Akolawole(m): 8:19am On Feb 02, 2009 |
Do you also know that: ## Paul Scholes is 34 and he is older than Michael Ballack ## The difference in age between Ashley and Evra is just months but Evra was born in Senegal so he is using Dakar age on his passport ## Tevez had seen the other side of life in Brazil and we knew he is a liar so his Mikel. @Kay_Pump I am just responding to Nateeves who bring up the age issue. Age ko! Age ni!! |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by Nobody: 8:30am On Feb 02, 2009 |
Age has got nothing to do with our abysmal performance. How many months ago did we fight tooth and nail to send the EPL to the last day. We also could have won the CL too. Ain't it the same players? Is less than 12months enough to age a person? LFS doesn't know what he's doing. Even Bosso could have taken the 2002 Brazil squad to the World cup and won it. The problem is with our formation and general tactics. Even the Isreali understood the game better. |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by Akolawole(m): 8:32am On Feb 02, 2009 |
@Nat ### O'shea and Carrick will be 28 this year. This same chelsea players perform wonders in the last few years. Why NOT now? Of course, i knew they are nearing dimnishing return but could still pull out something with a good coach like me Do you also know that Gilberto was Arsenal's best player at old age before Wenger stupidly shipped him out? |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by Akolawole(m): 8:36am On Feb 02, 2009 |
@BlueD @Nateeves You must respond to all these o. Are you enjoying the forced public holiday in London today? |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by nateev(m): 8:40am On Feb 02, 2009 |
EXCUSSES!! THE RED CARD MATTER SHOULD BE THROWN TO THE DUSTBIN JUST YESTERDAY STOKE CITY GOT A RED CARD 37TH MINUTES GOT A GOAL 42ND MINUTES AND WENT ON TO WIN MAN CITY BY A LONE GOAL. (2) ARSENAL GOT A RED CARD AGAINST SAME LIVERPOOL AND DID NOT LOOSE THE GAME. A SERIOUS MINDED TEAM CANT GIVE SUCH LAME EXCUSE IF THEY EVER HOPE TO WIN ANYTHING. SO RED CARD IS NO EXCUSE TO CONCEED 2 GOALS. I GUESS IT IS GOOD NIGHT CHELSEA. PERIOD! chelsea is now level on point with aston villa but just ahead on goals difference if villa had won chelsea would have been number 4 now.the season looks very red. |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by Nobody: 8:42am On Feb 02, 2009 |
Akolawole, Scholes doesn't play week-in,week out like Ballack. That's where squad depth comes in o play. If LPS had a squad he could rotate,Ballack, with all his rubbish play wouldn't smell the premier league games. The problem is that you all depend on the same bunch of guys. |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by Nobody: 8:43am On Feb 02, 2009 |
@ fake Nateevs Our issue with the card is that it wasn't deserved! |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by nateev(m): 8:51am On Feb 02, 2009 |
BlueDiva:should that now lead to a loss? the whole game should be considered. what was chelsea's performance in the first half like? how has chelsea been performing this season even with the array of 'stars' on display? i guess that answers the question. a team destined to win has got certain traits and i seek in vain to find that near stamford bridge. |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by Nobody: 8:56am On Feb 02, 2009 |
Maybe u should read my previous post. I agree we ain't playing too well. If we were playing with 11 men, just maybe we could have drawn the game. |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by nateev(m): 9:03am On Feb 02, 2009 |
BlueDiva:THATS only hypothetical. some teams play even better when they are one down. just on saturday stoke scored and won man city about seven minutes after getting a red.they played 60 minutes without a man. another thing is HOW WAS CHELSEA PLAYING BEFORE THE RED CARD! that should tell you @maybe chelsea could have played better with 11 men. have a nice day. |

Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by Nobody: 9:08am On Feb 02, 2009 |
@FN It will be impossible to tell what the outcome would have been. Liverpool is of a different class. Can't compare City to L'pool. |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by Akolawole(m): 9:12am On Feb 02, 2009 |
Quote From Nateeves: post #218 LPS spokesman You can do many things with over 30's. Ask SAF of Rio, Paul and Giggs |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by debosky(m): 9:15am On Feb 02, 2009 |
Just maybe you could've drawn? Sad to see what Chelski has been reduced to. Baba AK I meant to say MU at SB @ Nateevs What could LPS have done? First of all, he should've told Malouda and Kalou to KEEP their width - they couldn't even stretch Liverpool's defence all through the game - na so so cutting in we dey see, no sticking to the wings and running. Is it old age affecting Malouda and Kalou as well? Why can't Scolari do something bold for once? Apart from trying to prove Anelka is better than DD or that schitzo, why not START Stoch if he actually thinks the boy is that good? Change things up somehow! Scolari is incapable of doing that with this Chelski side. Problems indeed - I repeat, MU with their patch patch team are winning games, Chelski just can't THINK!! They are one - paced, very pedestrian and completely unimaginative. Whenever they face a team that can match them, we see results like yesterday. Not ONCE has Chelski looked good enough to beat any of the big teams in England, that cannot be down to players alone. There might be SOME decline, but this is a coaching malaise when your first real chance is in the 74th minute. Eastbay stop insulting Ballack - he's been one of the best Chelski players in the last month or so - scoring goals and being a threat in the box. Even with Drogba in, how many balls were played in over the top? Almost none. BlueDiva: Finally a Chelsea fan with the balls (not literal ) so say it like it is. LPS is CLUELESS here, the only achievement outside club footie in Brasil is the much vaunted WC crown. Sadly, he couldn't achieve that success elsewhere, and he won't, cos you can't recreate brasil everywhere you go. |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by Ibime(m): 9:18am On Feb 02, 2009 |
Akolawole: O-boy, I am loving it! I just woke up to receive the best news ever - that the trains are not running!!!! Lazy man! BTW, how come Akola always knows what is happening in UK? Anyway, back to this LPS argument. It is quite obvious our squad needs an overhaul, however LPS should be doing a lot better with the players he has. I remember that Grant used Claudio Pizarro for 2 months in November and December last season and we didn't lose a single game. During the same period, we had many players injured, including Essien, Makalele and Lampard. Grant was smart enough to convert SWP into a central midfielder and SWP had the best spell of his Chelsea career. I am not one for sacking managers. It is quite obvious to anyone that LPS was going to change our style of play, and that we were going to lose some points during such a transition. It is also quite obvious that the set of players we have are not built for the type of game LPS wants to implement. OK, no problem there. But, if LPS wants to change our style, he needs to suggest players we can buy to play his system, not just banging on about Robinho all the time. We don't have that kind of money for such an overhaul. Go to the board with a list of 20 credible transfer targets who can all be bought at a reasonable price. I'm afraid that LPS has a limited knowledge of the transfer market and that is not what we need right now. In this period, we need an Arsene Wenger type character. Even Avram Grant knows the transfer market very well. LPS should stop harping on about £32m Robinho and look at some boys like Gervinho, even Savio Nsereko. Otherwise, he MUST achieve with the players he has, even if that means playing the Mourinho-style football we are used to. I think we need a proper director of football like Gianni Nanni to help LPS. Just look at some of the players Nanni has brought to West Ham. They have lost half of their first team, yet he replaced them effortlessly with players like Herita Ilunga, Valon Behrami, Di Michele, and now Nsereko and Radoslav Kovac. |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by Nobody: 9:23am On Feb 02, 2009 |
I'm not one for sacking managers too. LFS should admit he is clueless and finds the English game a little complex for him. An assistant coach should be appointed, one who has coached in England. Wilkins is a joke. Just maybe then, we could start seeing the best of LFS |

Neteevs, Have you seen Ballack in a German shirt and how he plays, You wont know he is 33, The indictment is on LFS. Grant played with these players less than 12 months ago (without Bosingwa and Deco) LFS played 5 games against top EPL sides lost 4 drew 1 conceded 9 goals scored 2 (Including an own goal by Djourou). Be the judge |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by FBS: 10:16am On Feb 02, 2009 |
In as much as debo et all does not have the right to blast Chelsea players, what they are saying is true. Age is not the reason chelsea is playing "badly". With the right tactics and frame of mind, we could (and will) be number 1. One thing I have noticed is this. Even when we score, the way the players celebrate. . .heck it doesn't look like them days of JM aka the "Special One". These little little things are very vital and it helps in building a fantastic team spirit. It is very clear (except if you only want to continue to keep your head in your behind) that LPS is clueless and he doesn't have the motivational effects managers are renowned to have on their players. It is either the players are not committed to him or they have lost it entirely. LPS has to shoulder the blame 'cos had Chelsea won, he would have taken the glory (no offence to all LPS "worshippers") the man just doesn't know what to do. I have been watching AC Milan, and in particular Bechkam lately. You can only marvel at the way other players "mob" him affectionately when he scores or makes an assist. Yes, Beckham still got it, but Ancelloti is able to get the best out of him and that is one thing LFS has completely failed to do. He has not done anything extraordinary so far this season. I can't name a player he has managed to improve. If you can't compete with and beat the best, you shouldn't bother being among the best. No bias but I don't see him with the Blues next season except well, something magnifico happens. Other players that maybe sent packing along with the manager 1. DD 2. Malouda 3. Belleti 4. Deco 5. Anelka is a voyager, who knows he might fancy another team next season 6. All the scouts at chelsea. Why don't we have young talents as starters. |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by Nobody: 10:23am On Feb 02, 2009 |
@FBS True talk. Well i'm sure u remember we sacked 70% of our scouts. Lets just do what we can this season. Next season is for thorough overhauling. |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by Nakasukky(m): 10:26am On Feb 02, 2009 |
Losing to Liverpool home and away is the worst thing that has ever happened to Chelsea. This is in fact Chelsea's worst season in five years. (Tears) |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by FBS: 10:28am On Feb 02, 2009 |
BlueDiva:true we did but I think for wrong reasons. credit crunch. The head scout FA, should have been sacked first. |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by Nobody: 10:36am On Feb 02, 2009 |
Well. i think we should'nt get too worked up. Every dog has its day. |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by FBS: 10:41am On Feb 02, 2009 |
BlueDiva:well you know, desperate times calls for desperate measures. But like I said yesterday, ITS NOT OVER YET. other teams will most definitely drop points but we will only make that count if and when we take advantage of that. |
