I mean to ask, because I only just switch church recently and my new spiritual father seem to me more spiritual than my former.

He has for weeks been laying emphasis on the power of practical meditation. For him, prayer is just a distant scream; one must get close enough to be able to offer it effectively and meditation is the sure medium.

My question is why are church silent on this, even when they do, there are not enough practical emphasis/ teaching on it.
