The Count of Monte Cristo. Okay. Started out quite darkish and then became quite soppy. But it's a good enough adaptation of Dumas' book.

The King's Speech. I'm speechless. No pun intended. Ok, maybe a little pun intended. If you didn't know Colin Firth before, you'd think he actually stammers. I just realised Helena Bonham looks a lot like Johnny Depp. She could easily be his mother. Maybe there's something Burton sees in them.

Cara, it's funny you should mention Pearce. I thought he was mis-cast in The King's Speech. While his smirk was annoying, it was good acting in The Count of Monte Cristo. In the end, there's no smirk like my best friend's, Bruce Willis.

That Guy actually looks funny. I think the smirk is a permanent feature of his face. Cuz he's smirking virtually all the time.

I saw The Fighter and Due Date. They were both thoroughly enjoyable films. I was wondering what another boxing film could possibly offer but this was good enough. Not so much about the boxing per se but about the boxers. It unfortunately has a bit of similarity with WWE's Legendary.

Due Date also had the beginnings of a cliche but turned out pretty good. Talk about someone growing on you.

The last movie I saw was "The Tourist" starring Agelina Jolie.

I saw a bunch of films and I won't talk much about them:
True Grit, very good.
Social Network: one of the best dialogues I've seen in a while and there are a lotta actors I'll be keeping tabs on.
Green Hornet: surprisingly not bad. Plenty carnage. Seth still hurts my eyes though.
Pocahontas II, Hunchback of Notre Dame I and II. Coolest Disney villains.
127 hours: Not what I expected in the sense that it was predictable. It shoulda been longer too. It was still interesting though.
