Hmmm. . . I'm stuck on Bitdefender products and I've been using their Internet Security for the past 3 years. I just upgraded from Bitdefender Internet Security 2010 to the new Bitdefender Internet Security 2011.

Haba denzel2009. I was jst asking bcoz am tempted 2 use dis microsoft essential. The avast i use has too many false alarm (it detects good file as a serious threat) pls any1 dat can recomend a gud Antivirus 4 me.

Maga1, my comment was harmless. You just need to uninstall avast and put MSE, two AVs would destabilize your system.

I have been using free Avira for over 5 yrs now without any virus infection. However, if you dont know what you are doing,even if you have customised antivirus,you would still get virus.

No other antivirus does it better Rising is the way, so far it is updated frequently u are save

Acording to studies antivirus are not really made to kill or scan virus their major job is to block virus from entering ur device, they serve as a gate man. Any virus that entered your system can not be deleted by antivirus, rather it is virus removal tools that is built to remove virus, expect virus removal tools is included in your antìvirus that is when it will act as gate man and also remove virus from ur device.
