I don't think in really there is any anti virus that is 100 percentage pure and the best of all, what we need to do is to take care of our digital devices that they don't get infected by the viruses. Mostly the USB devices are affected by the virus so avoid exchanging such devices with the other people.

Pls , can someone help me with recovering my files on an external drive. i got it infected with some virus (RECYCLER)
The files are still there but cannot be accesssed again. All files appeared like a shortcut but could not be opened initially. The properties shows the files are stilll there. files are close to 100Gb, pls help recorver , how do i do this

from what I read online, formatng the drve might not completely take it out of your drive most especially if you use Window XP

My Dear try and install avast anti virus 6, even the free version is superb, if you succeed, then restart your PC you will be surprise that the virus will be deleted automatically. However if it persist, scan and delete it manually.

But, avast does not install on some infected system, if that is the case then install AVG, use it first to attack the virus. Actually it won't remove all the viruses but it will disable many of them giving you chance to install Avast. Remove the AVG later and install avast.
Surely Avast remains the BEST. 

After that download and install this software RecoverMyFiles. It will help you to recover all the files and it will give you option to save them where ever you like.

well i had that problem of all my folders disappearing when i gave someone my flash drive and had some crucial files in there. i could recall i did some tricks with nod 32 the very old version but i cant remember.

solution 1
open d drive and then right click inside the same drive and select properties , if u see that the hidden attribute is locked move on to solution 2. but if not then uncheck the folder and select for current folder and subfolder and click ok.

solutin 2
download winrar and install it. go the drive ur files are located, right click then select new and then select a new winrar archive/zip archive. it was place an archive of 1kb on the drive. open it and use to navigate, u will see all ur files on the drive.

just copy the address from the address bar of the winrar soft and paste it into ur windows address bar. u can copy all ur files using this method.

I have been using avira and AVG, Avg dissapointed once but avira has been serving me right. U can even get a free edition online from avira site

Avira antivirus seem to be working well for me.

There are two things that causes a system to slow in performing an action either when on net or off.

There are so many antivirus today and many of them are good. i used avast, AVG,norton,NOD, webroot all they are good. right now i am using trend micro and it works great and stops all type of virus and my computer is working great.
