ok... maybe i would have to get charcoal iron then. I have no other option since NEPA has cut my light and I am not going to give them a kobo till they rectify their faulty billing system or give me prepaid meter. Now, I can't use my 2.5kva generator for ironing... it might damage the generator. Penuelseun: |

C = total AH (amperes per hour) Assuming your battery bank is 12v 200AH, your charger can be C5, C6, C7, C8, C10 and NOT C4, C3, C2 to ensure long battery life. So for a 200AH, your charger can be: C5 (200 ÷ 5 = 40 amps battery charger) C6 (200 ÷ 6 = 33.33 amps battery charger) C7 (200 ÷ 7 = 28.57 amps battery charger) C8 (200 ÷ 8 = 25 amps battery charger) So for a 200AH, if you want the batteries to last longer, your charger should NOT be: C4 (200 ÷ 4 = 50 amps battery charger) C3 (200 ÷ 3 = 66.67 amps battery charger) C2 (200 ÷ 2 = 100 amps battery charger) I read it on a website that I found when I was searching online. And I think that is why Ceejay80s recommends a smart charger like the one from his friend in Mushin because there is one knob you can use to adjust so that it can fit the battery. afeez20: 1 Like |

Penuelseun:My brother , thank God for u, I hv tried explaining this to them from page 0, no matter how big ur inverter or batteries are ,don't plug air conditions, heaters, pressing irons, even some refrigerators....etc No mind those wey dey sell inverters, they lie to u by telling u that u can plug the whole world to ur inverter, yes it will work but ur batteries or inverter won't last long and u run back to them for replacement, Take real good care of it if u really want to enjoy ur setup for years without replacing batteries or inverters 1 Like |

bobojoshua:2v or 12v ? If its 2v it will never work |
Re: How To Create A Locally Made Inverter With Ease by saint2ace(m): 7:45pm On Jan 16, 2016 |
bobojoshua: Hi Bobojoshua, u'll 6pcs of the 2v batteries connected in series to give u 12v b4 it can work with the regular 12v inverter or 12pcs to get u to 24v, and u'll need a super big charger to get it up and running. So I advise u stick to the regular. Regards |

TeOwl: I got 5watts at oshodi before it was destroyed, most sellers in my area don't even know what watts mean, all they do is give me the 26watts energy saving bulb , I was lucky that,a guy in my street I asked said he has 9watts not knowing it was 7watts, I quickly bought from him for 150naira, guy look around ur area very well u will see 7 or 11watts, goodluck |

My smart charger is no longer working. It simply shows green light while connected to the batteries, no red. However, all my batteries are dead. I don't mind repairing it myself if I know what to replace. |

i got that brand also...i dont think CeeJay80 or anybody has any problems with their Suoer charger yet... are we sure it was not high voltage or power surge that damaged the charger? or it could be a factory fault or something? Do you want to call the man you bought it from to find out what you can do to fix the charger? Leopantro: |
