You didn't see the cities mentioned in the states abi?
The Agbara-Ibafo-Otta-Sagamu industries produce more value than Abia... And you are still thee talking about Aba.
Keep basking in "hear-say"....
the only city in Ogun is abeokuta. Aba has five local govt, it can't be compared with agbara village.

plastic industries?
You see plastic and distilleries on every street of aba.

Have you ever stopped to think of the versatility / variability and volume of the products produced by these industries?
There is even a plastic making "industry" on my street, but they only make things such as dirt parkers, buckets, and other little things.

Some plastic industries make Huge moulds used in further production, and a huge range of products in large whole-sale quantities that range into the billions of Naira.... Not all plastic making industries are the same bro.
I was about to criticize one Aba man on the previous page for mentioning paint industries, as one of the industries in Aba, but then I stepped back, because I didn't know the value and/or quantity of what they ptoduced

Your stupidity is unrivaled.
You have never heard of an industrial corridor?

let me educate you.
The industrial complexes of Ogun are in suburbia and outskirts, not in city center.
But even at that, the Industrial area is the Sagamu-Otta-Ibafo-Agbara axis. Eve Ijebu-Ode is not left out.

As far back as 1999, Otta was already the third largest Industrial city in Nigeria. In case you didn't know.

You still don't get it. The thread says city and not State. Read my earlier comments. If you want to compare States then open a thread about States.

Abagworo:

I am very enlightened, highly travelled and knowledgeable hence I don't damble into ego measurement based on tribe or religion.

Please list any individual city outside Lagos or some parts of Ogun State (not city) that has such accumulation of multinationals because I am not one of these tribalists on Nairaland. I tell things the way they are. Many people depend on pictures posted by opposition politicians to discredit Government as the complete true reflection of Aba. Aba is not the outskirts or the slum most people have image of. It has suffered from neglect by federal and State government but is not exactly what the internet pictures depict.

And theres a thread on Ogun already

https://www.nairaland.com/2322312/ogun-state-nigerias-emerging-industrial

https://www.nairaland.com/1385731/35-new-firms-open-business

You can as well check my views. Ogun enjoyed the advantage of proximity to Lagos which has limited land for expansion and hence a spill over of Lagos city and attendant gaina into the State. Thats a good thing for Nigeria but its not the topic of this thread.

Lagos and Ogun state have by far the highest concentration of Industries in Nigeria.
Within them, places like Ikeja, Sango Otta, Sagamu, Apapa etc are the Anchor cities.

Aba is the biggest city in the South-East. (7th in Nigeria), so yeah, it will naturally have a lot of Industries. But then figures show that Otta is the third largest manufacturing hub in Nigeria. The first two must be in Lagos state.

lagos and Ogun state may have more industries, but on city basis, no city in southwest has more than aba.

Most multinationals are in aba, local industries and of course you can't exclude SMEs. You don't seem to know the definition of industries, you think its limited to beverage and plastic industries you see in agbara. Illiterate.

There is a recently trending fad all over nairaland now that the ibos use in consoling themselves that Yorubas don't go out of their enclave in the southwest and as such, are less exposed. grin I usually reel in laughter at their folly. Yorubas dont usually do interstate because we believe our region to be better than any other in Nigeria unlike some people that sees the southwest especially Lagos as their own London.

To give a few instances, there are lot of cities in south America where Yoruba culture and Language are most prominent, heck they even celebrate our festivals and revere our kings like the alaafin of Oyo for instance.

Don't even let me talk about the UK scenario. Now law enforcement in Uk are trying to employ Yoruba speaking individuals in Uk cos of the sheer magnitude of immigrants in the country. We are found everywhere all over the world and we live all over as prominent citizens respective of our hosts.

If you say agbara is more industrialized, you have to look from the three classifications of industries. The extractive industry, manufacturing industry and service industry.

Study those and get back for more lectures. Illiterate.

Forget it coz you go wait tire. That e-Agbero will NEVER back anything he says with any data or fact. At best, he'll tell you he "thinks" he's right even after he has been embarrassed with facts to the contrary.

That was how he opened a useless thread earlier about the SE having the best Federal roads simply coz he "thinks" so and that the SW has the worst -- he didnt present any shred of data or even picture to buttress his point against the SW -- he based his whole argument on the fact that he "thinks" so ? ? ? Like seriously, who does that?
