Are you serious? But was the first time they block you because they blocked my guy the other day for a week for too much cancellations.

Second time. It was quite unfortunate as the second time occurred when I just worked for few hours in over a week.

Hello guys good to be here, I must commend the effort of the contributors to this forum, I'm a new driver on the platform, drive my own vehicle. Registered for taxify and I was sent mail to go for inspection and also visit their office for training, surprisingly I got activation text yesterday and took my first trip this morning without having to visit their office. Do I still need to go there for training?

I've been on uber for over 3weeks, yes it is profitable for I must say they are "slave drivers" uber cares more abt riders not drivers, I'll be sharing some of my experiences here also.

Hello guys . I've got a car lying idle . I'm thinking of going for Uber inspection today. I'd like to ask if they accept a pending driver's license as all I've got is the temporary (papered) driver's license.
Again what other documents do I need apart from driver's license, road worthiness, inspection report . Thanks smiley

I try not to cancel more than 2 requests a day but yesterday was bad that I cancelled about 5. Some riders are wicked that they won't cancel once you tell them you are not going to their destination.
I try explaining to them that they won't be charged since I have not driven for 5 mins towards them or arrived.

They don't accept that paper license unless the temporary driver's license

Kindly note that receiving trip requests is subjected to supply and demand levels in different areas, and different periods during the day.

Your trip will be automatically reviewed, if we find that the request distance was significantly higher than the most efficient trip route, a miscellaneous payment will be added to your account. If your trip was not adjusted, it is because it did not fit into our thresholds for adjustments.

The miscellaneous payment process will run from Sunday 00:00 through to Saturday 00:00. So if a trip was made after this time it will be reviewed in your following payment cycle.

Please note: This does not apply to driver destination (choose your destination) trips.

It's good practice to compare a rider's pin location with the street name and number. Zooming in on the pin often provides the most accurate detail for a rider's desired pickup location. It's also a good idea to try contacting a rider to confirm pickup. Direct communication can help make it easier to coordinate.
