Real Madrid Accept Stuttgart Offer For Klaas-Jan Huntelaar
According to Marca, Real Madrid have accepted VfB Stuttgart's €20 million bid for Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who is out of favour at the Bernabeu.
The German side are believed to be the only club to have matched Real's valuation of the player, who joined 'Los Blancos' from Ajax in the winter transfer window.
Despite Huntelaar's €3.8m-a-year current contract, Stuttgart are ready to match the striker's wage demands following the lucrative sale of Mario Gomez to Bayern Munich.
The Spanish paper claims that the only thing left for Huntelaar to complete a deal to Stuttgart is for him to agree on personal terms with the German outfit.

Man City pull plug on Eto'o move
Manchester City have ended their interest in Barcelona's Cameroon international striker Samuel Eto'o.
The two clubs had been in talks over the £25m-rated striker after Barca told the 28-year-old Eto'o they were prepared to let him leave the Nou Camp.
City chief executive Garry Cook said: "The circumstances surrounding him were such that a deal couldn't be completed.
Eto'o is the second marquee player City have missed out on following Kaka's decision not to sign in January.
City reportedly made a bid in the region of £100m for the Brazilian midfielder, but he opted to stay with AC Milan, before joining Real Madrid in a £60m transfer in June.
Reports suggested the Eastlands club told Eto'o he could earn wages of up to £250,000 per week, which would have made him the highest-paid player in the world.
But the transfer became bogged down in a contractual dispute between Eto'o and Barcelona, who has been offered a new two-year contract by the Catalan club.
Eto'o cost Barcelona £16m when he signed from Mallorca in 2004 and the Cameroon forward has scored more than 100 goals in his five seasons with the club.
He helped the Catalan side win a treble trophy haul of the Spanish league title, domestic cup and Champions League in the 2008-2009 campaign.
City's summer spending so far has seen them sign striker Roque Santa Cruz from Blackburn for £18m and Aston Villa midfielder Gareth Barry for £12m.

Udinese confirm Real interest in D'Agostino
Serie A side Udinese have confirmed that Real Madrid are interested in signing Italian midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino.
The news will provide a boost to Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez, who has being trying to fend off the Spanish Primera Liga side's interest in Xabi Alonso.
Madrid admitted last week that Liverpool's asking price for the Spanish midfielder was too high and now appear to have switched their attention to 27-year-old Italian international D'Agostino.
Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo said: "I confirm that they (Real) are interested.
"My son was set to meet them yesterday but he was unable to so we postponed everything until next week.
"The buy-out clause of the player remains the same, €25m, but there's always room to reason. There are players they have that could interest us. It's an open negotiation."
D'Agostino has been a target of Juventus this summer but Udinese's asking price of €17m was not met by the Turin giants.
D'Agostino, who is under contract with the Friuli outfit until June 2014, would love to play at the Bernabeu stadium.
"It's the dream of any player to play at Real Madrid," said D'Agostino to Onda Cero. "They have a spectacular team.
"That is why I'm nervous and excited. I thank Real for their interest, I am happy, but there's nothing official just yet."

Ligue 1 - Lyon sign £20m striker Lopez
Lyon have signed Argentina striker Lisandro Lopez from Porto on a five-year deal.
"Lisandro Lopez signed a five-year professional contract with Lyon today, after he passed a medical," a statement said.
The two sides had agreed a fee of 24 millions euros (£20.6 million), Lyon announced earlier this week.
The 26-year-old Argentine international, who scored six goals in 10 Champions League matches last season, helped Porto win the domestic league title from 2006 to 2009.
Lyon sold Karim Benzema to Real Madrid for an initial 35 million euros, rising to 41 million dependent on performances

The 21-year-old agreed a four-year deal after he passed a medical at the Stadium of Light.

Manchester United have not bid for Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero, according to club president Enrique Cerezo.

Reports claimed United made an offer of £30 million plus Portugal winger Nani for the Argentina international.

The 21-year-old striker is under contract with the Liga outfit until June 2012 and has a 55m euro buy-out clause.

"Manchester United have not made any offers for 'Kun' and we will not sell any player," Cerezo told Marca.

"We don't want to sell any of our players. We will keep all of our players because we are very good as we are and we have a great team."

Mavinga, 18, can also play in the centre of defence and has represented his country at under-18 level.

El Zhar, 22, is the latest Reds player to sign a new deal and he has committed himself to the Anfield club until 2012.

Bolton Wanderers' long pursuit of Paul Robinson is finally at an end after the club completed the loan signing of the West Bromwich Albion defender.

The two clubs had been at odds for weeks over the valuation of the 30-year-old left-back.

West Brom were believed to be holding out for £1m while Bolton were only prepared to offer half that amount but the player has now joined Wanderers on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent transfer.

BREAKING NEWS: Manchester City Agree Fee With Arsenal For Emmanuel Adebayor

Arsenal and Manchester City are in talks over the transfer of Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

Sky Sports News reports that the Arsenal hitman is set to begin contract negotiations with the Eastlands side.

Adebayor has been linked with a move away from the Gunners with reported interest from Barcelona and AC Milan.

However, it appears Manchester City have stolen a march on their rivals by agreeing a £20 million fee.

City manager Mark Hughes is desperate to bring in quality names, and has been chasing Chelsea and England captain John Terry, as he attempts to kick-start his Eastlands revolution.

Sky Sports also report that the transfer of former Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez is nearing completion.

It is believed that Tevez has opted to move to the city rivals of his former club over a switch to Chelsea.

Citeh no good, but this is a possible line up soon

----------------------------Schmeichel-----------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----Zabaleta ------Richards---------Dunne-----------Bridge------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------Barry--------------------------------
----------------SWP--------------------------Ireland-----------------
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------Tevez?--------------------------------------Robinho------------
-----------------------------Adebayor?----------------------------------

and they would still have subs like elano, kompany, Cruz, bellamy, Ben haim, Onuoha, Garrido, Petrov . . . . . . .
Add a better CB and they have a good chance of finishing in the top 4. They now have good depth which is what they lacked last season.

If they get Tevez and Adebayor, citeh would finish top four next season, and have a run at the title the following year.

Xabi Alonso is reportedly Real Madrid's number one transfer target to strengthen the centre of the midfield, but the Spanish club and Liverpool have so far been unable to settle on a sum for his services.

Negotiations between the two clubs for Xabi Alonso are currently in an impasse after Liverpool requested €47 million for the midfielder they signed in 2004 from Real Sociedad.

But with 'Los Blancos' uninterested in going beyond the €27m mark, they have reportedly turned their attention to other targets, such as Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas, who is also being followed by Barcelona.

According to AS, Liverpool have told Real Madrid Xabi Alonso will now be allowed to leave for €35 million, a figure the Spanish giants are reportedly refusing to pay after being 'insulted' by the midfielder's initial price-tag.

Meanwhile, news daily Marca reports that Xabi Alonso himself called Liverpool coach Rafa Benítez on Friday to ask him to be allowed to sign for Real Madrid, just one day after the Spanish tactician publicly criticized both Xabi's and Javier Mascherano's lack of commitment to the club.

The Blues are planning a gigantic bid to land Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Chelsea are planning a sensational swoop for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to The News of the World.

Apparently, the Blues are ready to offer €70 million plus Ricardo Carvalho and Deco, the Portuguese pair in whom the Nerazzurri have expressed interest.

Ibrahimovic is well aware of the London club's interest, saying, "I am fully aware that Chelsea want to sign me and, of course, it is very flattering.

"They are one of the biggest teams in Europe and the Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world."

If the deal goes through, it will more than double Chelsea's record transfer fee, when they paid €34m for Andriy Shevchenko.

Chelsea would also have to match Ibrahimovic's current wages of around €12m per year, but the Swedish striker insisted that a potential move was not about money.

"Money is not the most important thing," he continued. "I will base my decision on what's good for me, what suits me.

"It is about asking: will I still be able to be special in the league that I am going to, the team I am going to? Are my qualities right for the Premier League or not?"
