Please let us all remember that we are all christians. We must not behave otherwise by attacking those who are not christians. Remember Saul was a persecutor before he became a christian. If someone is always asking questions about christianity, it means the person is interested. And we should answer his questions straight. When all his questions have been answered, you can then question him about his own religion. If he is wise, he will know what to do when he fails to answer all the questions. The gospel is meant to be proclaimed and the truth to be defended. It is God's own choice whether to open the heart of whom it is told or not. For he reveals to the humble. Many have eyes but do not see. It is not us that make them blind but God. Abuzola ride on. Read more catholic doctrines so you'll find better questions to ask because the ones you ask make it appear as if you are strongly biased. There is no need to be biased. @ Abuzola Jesus was not carried. Satan led him to be tempted so he could distract him from the original assignment. But he did not yield. He accomplished his assignment which resulted in eternal salvation for everyone including you. Acts 4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. |

Did the devil took jesus in an aeroplane, car or donkey or did he drag jesus there, the perfect answer is he carried jesus, note: Jesus was not ask if he likes to go or not therefore is a spontaneous action, took him to places. Abuzola, Abuzola, Abuzola. Give it up already. You're trying to say Jesus isn't all we claim He is because Satan took Him here and there?
Read some verses before that one. Jesus went into the desert to be tempted. Whether or not he wanted to go was sooooo out of the question at that point.
I've posted this on this thread when it first started, but you very conveniently ignored it, like a lot of you do. First of all, why did Jesus come to the earth? To strut his direct heavenly lineage? To walk all over the earth yelling that his father was on top of the trinity (but of course, you don't even believe in the trinity)? No. Jesus came to be an example to Christians, then to die for our sins. For example, discrimination, with Zaccheus. Priorities, with Martha and Mary. A Christian's authority, with so many miracles that he did. Temptation, with the devil. Jesus proved that we didn't have to fall when we were tempted. And for people who care to study the Bible, Jesus did all that for us. Then he died, and sealed it all up. I hope you understand now. |

Which kind example jesus taught, to be single till the end of ur life or to consume wine - his first miracle was wine and last super he took a wine, jesus said he came to spread sword so why will you only take God for granted and say god was tempted so as to set example for us. The Bible has clear instructions about marriage. If you can stay unmarried without sinning, do. But it's better to marry than to destroy yourself with passion. Is it possible that you've heard of a little something called celibacy? Not that I'm saying that was the case with Jesus, but have you ever considered it? And, exactly what is wrong with being single till the end of your life? And, just so you know, THE WORDS JESUS AND GOD CANNOT BE FREELY USED INTERCHANGEABLY!!!!! So stop confusing yourself. |

Abuzola: Let me break this down, Abuzola. There's the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Together, the Trinity. Some would say God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. But the Father and Son are different entities. The Father was in heaven when the Son came to earth. The Father sent the Son. When most people say "God" and many times, if not every time when the Bible says "God", then it means the Father. Not the entire trinity, and not the Son. Deciphering which is which is exactly what the problem is. So, in the sense you're looking at it, no, Jesus isn't God. Jesus used to pray when He was on earth, was he praying to Himself all that while? Looking at it from your point of view, Jesus isn't God, and Jesus and God are two different entities. |
