Thank God its a Dell....every of Dell's parts are easily removable. Just get another DVD/CD drive and insert into the slot where d current one is removed.

B4 U do dat however, plz ensure that the current one is properly inserted. I hav seen a situation where a client mistakenly removed the drive and didn't insert back properly and so d drive wasing working.

The pavilion g6 is ok, In lagos, you can get it around 85k, a config of 2.5Ghz core i3 processor, 4gb ram and 500gb hdd.

The graphics card is intel gma hd, not too good for serious gaming, you may be stuck with games of 2 to 3yrs ago.

apps? which kinda apps? once its not a high graphics comsuming app, no wahala.

For serious gaming, u'll need rigs with dedicated graphics cards Nividia or Amd. Them this sys cost nothing less than 140k.

i am not sure why you are getting the error but try this:

1. make sure you are not installing a very old version or incompatible version.
2. make sure you uninstall previous antivirus
3. you may already have virus on the system which is preventing avast from installing


So try them out and give feed back for further assistance

Download Ccleaner, run it and clean your system registry. There are registry of old avast you installed in the system before still lurking in your system. Go to your 'Driver C', select 'Programs' and look for 'avast' folder and delete it. After that try to install the avast anti-virus again.

Please i have a problem with my laptop, whenever i finish booting it and i click on my computer folder or any other folder on the computer desktop, theres always a pop up window that appears asking me if i want to delete the folder to the recycle bin and also if i open MS Word to type a document, if i type a word or words the cursor keeps deleting all i typed on it own when i never clicked on the delete key. Plz what is the problem and how can i get rid of this 'cos it really socks and is so annoying please someone help!

Wen u turn it on, do you see the Acer logo? If yes den at what point does it go blank? If no, den its either the screen flex is weak or your screen malfunctioning.

I can bet you do not have an Antivirus installed. This is characteristic of a virus infested device. Download the kasparsky virus removal tool from here http://www.autoevolution.com/testdrive/mclaren-mp4-12c-test-drive-2013.html and run. Afterwards install a genuine antivirus software of your choice.

You often plug the changer in without waiting for low battery alert. this is known
as the memory effect, Google it for yourself. ok click start, all progr....
go to hp suppoert assistance and click power thermal then click battery check make
sure chrger is connected and the laptop will test the batery for you. we need you
to do this before we can proceed on some laptop you'd see hp battery test if it is
not avaialble. google hp battery test dowload and instal it thentest the battery and
get back to us.

i.e. remember to also download avast removal tool to remove the existing antivirus and also i take that
you dont have[b] Norton or mcafee installed[/b] ? check your programs in control panel
