First it was Terem Moffi breaking PSG's heart with a late winner.

Now it is Moses Simon breaking PSG's heart again with another winner. Also Simon loves scoring against PSG. He bagged against them last season as well.

Naija lads on fire. cool

Iheanacho bagging a hattrick today is no surprise to me at all. It is what he will produce when he gets his run of games in a set-up that suits his play nicely. Playing him alongside Vardy frees him up to be the Alien kid we have always known him to be.

A mega deadly finisher. Knows how to pick up positions between the CBs and DM of the opponents. Also knows how to attack space created by his strike partner.

Iheanacho created 2 big chances today and made 3 key passes. Completed 6 dribbles. And was simply in unplayable form all game.

This further rubbishes the many claims made here by deluded folks who know little or nothing about football on how Iheanacho cannot dribble or beat a man. Such bollocks takes I have had to put up with in the name of freedom of speech. Yuck!!!

A player that cannot dribble completed 6 dribbles today.
Biko... Make those "Iheanacho cannot dribble" gang led by their Clownish Ring-leader, Komekn explain how that is possible. Come and drop charts and graphs sef. We dey wait.

It's not. It was a Cup Semifinal match up.

Genk and Onuachu are now through to the final of the Belgian Cup vs Standard Liege.

Onauchu scores

I think it’s a cup final

Oga... It's 5 penalties and 7 non-penalty goals. He's on 12 now not 10.

12large1:

4 penalties and 6 outfield goals still a fairly decent feat in a tough league. His Slow style/calmness fits the league moreso

There is nothing odd about Nacho's goal celebrations. Every player has a way they celebrate. Messi also have pointed to the heavens several times after a goal.
How some people are here making a big deal out of Nacho's celebration when Vardy dey join the "Seniorman Kels" chant gang dey make me laugh.

Icon4s:

grin He likes going spiritual by pointing to heaven, attributing the goal to God.

In today's (Modern day) game, typically scorers point towards or run towards the player that gave the assist.

Oyinbo people no dey spiritual like naija. So they would find Iheanacho's goal celebrations odd.

Honestly, his presence at the back gives Napoli that steel in defence. The foundation upon which they can nick some vital wins. I saw today's victory coming at Milan. I am glad because I want Osimhen and Napoli in the UCL next season.

Doctors in the house. What painkillers do we buy for Komekn

Iheanacho has bagged 5 EPL goals in March alone. So far, He's looking like a candidate for the EPL player of the month if he keeps this form going. Now tell me... Will painkillers save our local Southgate/Warri allardyce then, when Nacho possibly picks up an EPL POTM award?? Time will tell...

Samuel Kalu is likely to miss the AfconQ games vs Benin and Lesotho if he doesn't recover in time from the injury he picked up early in his team's Ligue 1 win.

The standby list of players include: Paul Onuachu, Henry Onyekuru, Peter Olayinka, Michael Olise (Passport process), and Terem Moffi.

One of these guys will be called up to the main list as Kalu's replacement.

Note: Ofcos Akpeyi and Adeleke are also on the standby list too but as GKs, we know they won't be called up.

Don't bother yourself. Onuachu to the rescue. He never makes the team's list but something happens and then you'd see him to show up to the party. grin grin

Seriously! He pushes his team forward, picks his passes well and poses Ariel threat every now and then. When he leaves, Napoli would suffer.

Brendan Rodgers on Iheanacho's MOTM showing

Courtesy: LCFC.com

"He was outstanding, not just in his goals, but his overall work-rate," the 48-year-old added. "He had a big responsibility today, in terms of dropping into the space, finding that pocket that was just on the back of the midfield, and I thought he did that very, very well.
"He’s a great guy. He deserved the three goals. He had one or two other opportunities, but we’re all delighted for him."

Well, he isn't close to leaving just yet. But I believe the Napoli management would already be looking at a worthy replacement for Koulibaly in the long term. They need a CB with potentials similar to the Koulibaly standard. What a monster and Masterclass of a defender Kalidou is. Watched him for years and I still marvel at his Class. Easily still the Best CB from Africa today.

Kelechi Iheanacho
Terem Moffi
Victor Osimhen

U have no proof of that. Gabriel was Pep's signing so he is doing everything to make things work. Rodgers has a similar system to Pep and Iheanacho is doing better than Gabriel with even smaller time.

Does Rodgers actually have a similar style as guardiola?

You know nothing boy and I am saying it with my full chest

Sérgio Oliveria and uribe is better than all Fulham midfielders

Pepe at 38 is better than almost all epl defenders playing at big clubs let alone Fulham

Chancel mbemba played for Newcastle before they where relegated so how are the Fulham defenders better than him cheesy

Now is there any Fulham forward a match to moussa marega cheesy

My friend go sit down for toilet

You typed a lot of rubbish here without conscience. Pepe's competition at Porto is a 21y/o Chelsea loanee, what do you expect? is he better than Christensen, Thiago Silva or Zouma atm? Virgil van dijk? Laporte? even soyuncu and tarkowski go bench am for Porto. you can hate the epl all you like but the competition there is the highest and toughest. I remember youri tielemans at anderletch, a teen captain with so much potential, league POTY winner, played a year at monaco (which you will tell me is also better or bigger than liecester), and where is he now?Mitrovic is a better attacker to Marega.

Let's argue more on this

I think they are a little bit. Both like to have the bulk of possession and both defend from the front. I think Rodgers just has less quality on the side this is why it is not so obvious.
