That Shawcross reminds me of one of my cousin that attended the same secondary school with me..
Man was a terrible footballer but he had one heck of a strong bother...like iron!
When we went to play ball, most people won't want him on their team cus he was a poor player, at the same time, they won't want him on the opposing team cus they were afraid he would break their legs..
And he really broke legs o grin . He rough tackled one of my bro one day and he couldn't walk for 3 months!. The principal banned him from playing football for the rest of the term grin
grin I can relate too. What made it so bad for us then was that they were actually twins. o boy! we rarely played football without an injured player fighting with them. grin grin

Same here too but his transfer was needless sha since you already got Mount. All eyes are on you next season. Lampard better not flop.

You and those people who liked your post are clearly ignorant. about player comparison.

We're talking about individual award you're mentioning international trophies.

They are two different things entirely.

International awards are team achievements and not individual.

If that's how you judge then Xavi, iniesta and pedro are better than Ronaldo

First their Coach Eddie left them,
Now they are selling almost all their players

Tindall is still with them though.

To singlehandedly achieve something means to do it without help from anybody.
You should reflect on that before you throw the word around casually...

"Key player" should be the most appropriate term...

We understand what it means in football.

29 players??

The highest we have ever called up for a game is 25!

And with the restrictions put in place for covid-19, 29 players is way too much..

6 are standby players. I heard he wants to use them for the friendlies.

It means the same thing in football..
To say Pulisic singlehandedly helped Chelsea finish 4th means that the goals Tammy,Giroud,Willian, etc scored were of no importance..

I disagree, during the last Afcon we scored twice from corner kick. Do you think it's by sheer luck?
Freekicks is the focal here na. And then in such a way that its part of why they are relevant, even at their clubs. Its almost zero for the SE on this front.

While Richarlison has great work rate, his defensive actions are not needed in a team that press. Asides Kovacic, I don't think any other player was more involved in counter attack buildup than Pulisic for Chelsea last season

As a forward Pulisic is a better player
Not needed? How? Even Ancelotti was once seen beckoning to him where to stay while defending. So its definitely needed.

I think that intensity in his play is what manu miss. I am blown away any time i watch Richarlison take those runs round the pitch.

However, I will like to see what Ancelotti will do with respect to directing his forward play and increasing his conversion rate. Because, sometimes Richarlison can be all over the place.
That work rate is stunning. He'd make a perfect attack partner for Vardy if he was at Leicester. And then even have less defending to do again. Meaning, more goals involvement.

We can even say Kepa single-handedly made Chelsea finish 4th, just from behind. Those goals no be here.

But that would be an insult to Rudiger, Zouma, Azpili, Christensen. And insult from behind, double reference. grin grin grin

Its worrisome o. Very.

See defenders in EPL stepping up to contest fks with superb freekick takers and they are likely to score more. Not this usual luck fk thing, but part of their technical abilities...... I dunno who needs to sound this bell o. Cos its not good atall.

I do study our opponents when SE eants to take a setpiece of freekicks, they don't really bother much. Like they know its no good. SE don't know they study our clips too ni?

I hope the new boys change this fading ability. We need it badly.

That Mikel own sef.... (hesitates)
Moses Simon is a good free kick taker. I don't know why he doesn't take them for us often.
