Just to update the group. i ve finally moved to Sydney, Australia. I was picked by Iceberg and Jamson themselves. Very cool guys. Currently staying with Jamson and his Mrs, a very homely couple.... Its been just two days, i slept for most of the first day, got a new sim and I m slowly adapting as it goes. Its a new culture and a lot to learn here. Weather is quite cold but easy to get by with sweaters and jackets. Will proceed with TFN, medicare, jobs and bank registrations within the week. Cheers all.

Hello house
I've gone through a bit of the pages of this thread and realized that help could finally come from here.

I'm interested in migrating to Australia before the end of this year but honestly have no idea of how to begin the process.

My profile:
I'm in my late 20s
Single
Professional Diploma in Software Engineering (DNIIT)
9 years experience in Computer Repairs/Maintenance and 4 years experience in Network + CCTV installations & maintenance.
Valid Intl Passport.
10+ years driving experience
9 O'level credits

Please I will sincerely appreciate every help I can get in making this a possibility this year.

Hello,
I'm sorry for the delay in response; I've been away since my last comment.

Thanks for sharing the actual content of the mail.
I've highlighted the key points noted by the assessor.
Again, I believe it would have been avoided by making reference to Chem Engr CDRs that I've received positive assessment outcomes.

It's obvious that the issue was your Career Episodes; your 5 years of study is suitable for assessment as Professional Engr but you've not been able to convince the assessor in your CE.

So, yes, I agree with you; you need to write another one or two CE.
This time ensure that you're spot on.

Don't forget to notify the assessor of your intentions to submit another Career Episode(s) as I believe a decision may be made after a period from when you received the notification from the assessor.

Thanks a lot bro for your time. I appreciate

Am sure my brother Sujydee is somewhere making his money lol! but I think I can make some notes.

How long was your apprenticeship for? I have colleagues here and they said their apprenticeship standard is five years.

So I presume they won't accept anything less than that. They accept apprenticeship certificate, there is no doubt about that.

You will see the note on that in their application guideline and do remember, the success of an application depends on the packaging.
