@aktopgun, I have a question for you: did you know a group called exousia while you were at medilag?

WW,

If I may, the Exousia group I know was in U.I/UCH.

Yes, yes they were. I used to be heavily involved in organizing several campus programs in which they would perform and oftentimes I would perform with them. We used medilag alot for practice during those infamous ASUU strikes. That's the reason I was asking aktopgun if he recognized them from medilag.

Roughcut,
We are talking about 2 different things.Don't worry my name will make it for the rights offer.Just spoke to my broker who confirmed it.The Feb12th date  was for the issuance of Bonus shares and dividends and has nothing to do with their public offer. tongue

The high relative nominal price will be a cause of worry to me especially since they may still have maybe close to 10B shares outstanding.

I think they should be able to live with high nominal price and 10B outstanding shares supported with luvly-jubbly results though. With the level of profits they generating now with 16B outstanding shares the fundamentals will be shot to pieces. As long as they placate us with reasonable dividends and may be bonus isuues once in about 4 years i don't think anyone will complain. Just that no more RO-RO for this one!

The high nominal price of Nestle doesnt seem to have impacted the stock adversely and OandOalthough we know say that one get oil after him name grin grin grin grin grin grin

I won't compare with Nestle or Oando or AP because these guys have relatively few shares outstanding. None even has up to a billion shares outstanding.

If Intercontinental doubles PAT right now, the forward PE will just be about the same with that of UBA and Oceanic.

Dividends are not doing anything for this high cap companies right now but maybe things will change. See NB with declaring a divindend of 195k and buyers are not moved.

Bonus will definitely do the trick but like you said this will require some waiting for.

Oga Pumping na wetin I do you now. Two questions on insurance  stocks and no reply. The young shall grow.

No vex my broda. I've just tracked down your query.

This one is simple. There are some insurance stocks with good fundamentals and low relative nominal price on TS or TS bound.

Collecting some for post TS run is a good idea since they will be the first set to be TS-Proof and in the insurance sector.

Caveat Empty o.

Anyway, N10 looks like the point at which a lot of peeps are looking to sell, so you might want to be watchful. I'll be revisiting later.

Noticed the same. Quite confusing. The results reported yesterday tallied with that of the NSE but now they are showing Lclose figures that don't match up and it's hard to tell if today's prices are correct.

Abeg, peeps wey dey download the orijo from NSE, make you represent  grin
