@ allcorrect, you better wait for IEI to trend down a bit, then buy more and average down your purchase price.

For those using CSCS online service, has anyone been having problems seeing the details of their purchases? I bought some stocks this week and while they reflect in my account, whenever I click on them to see the purchase date and price it is blank.

This never used to happen before

I see this all the time. Possibly this happens with cross deals in which the broker is moving the stock from one broker to another within the same firm. The funny thing is that you will still get a trade alert.

From the look of things almost every investor that boarded a PENNY flight(especially before Dec 2007),has made a kill,methinks the bullish trend will continue with over 80% of the quoted stocks.Too much kesh chasing too few stocks whaddya expect
Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by wanaj0: 8:13pm On Feb 29, 2008
Not sure the data on Nigerian securities is correct. All the other sites talked of NSE having technical problems.
Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by aktopgun(m): 8:17pm On Feb 29, 2008
@wanajo

Nigeriansecurities.com : they monitor the NSE site by doing regular intermittent scans for the latest prices unlike most other sites that report once a day and dont correct their prices

linkassurance (if we are to believe nigsec have accurate prices for them)

I am interested in learning to trade forex, not because they always tell me its the largest currency market in the world, but because some things are worth knowing.

My only scare is, how can a lay man trade forex sucessfully when he probably doesnt own a computer of his own, lives with epileptic power supply (if any light at all) and has no time to sit on the computer (probably keeping a day job or business?

Are these things suited for the ordinary Nigerians? The hype is too much and yet they tell me there is more money in Forex than stock market, but for who, the rich or the rest of us?

yeah right! That's why they are always trying to teach you, holding seminars and what not! It's mostly (nah mostly I talk o!) hypish. Not met a single person who has made a fortune from forex. On the other hand, I made more from NSE than from my job last yr
Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by dollarmani: 10:02pm On Feb 29, 2008
undecided Now i can finally trust NigerianSecurities. They told me they scan and update their database periodically so that in the fianl analysis the data is right for their tools which we are becoming dependent on in this forum thanks to AKGbosa and pumice.

They truly lived up to it. Their prices almost immeditely also reflect the new changes NSE just made when you compare it to the excel sheet.

AKGbosa, i beg light the candles.
