my hubby LSC and was advice to see a Urologist, after test and scan he was diagnosed with varicocele, he had varicolectomy done but the LSC is still below 1m, i hav done all scan and test, HSG shows my tubes are ok all my test result and scan are perfect, he was placed on a drug for 3 months (Enhanz) still no improvement, hubby is advocating for IUI wit a donor sperm pending when he can be financially ok for ICSI or IVF. seeking for advice on the next step to take.

I can't imagine what you are going through but for my mind with the problem seeming to come from the man, I don't see him giving u wahala unlike when we marry mean men and the infertility is traced to the woman.
Now to your question, is ur husband oyinbo enough to keep this secret all his life and love these child or children? Will he be fair if you guys later have kids by his own sperm? Are amebos in his family liable to hear and trouble u in future?
Like I said, if that was the problem with my ex husband and I, the table would have been reversed. I will have been his Queen for just staying beside him afterall he gave up on me.
Me I no know your age, but at my age, I will keep working on his sperm and working hard for money for IVF since IVF has some chances you said. Hugs my sister.

There r people wd LSC that still acheived preggy naturally. My advice was based on d assumption that u av explored other alternative solution n d donor sperm seemed d viable solution.

Doesn't work that way. The sperm is placed in the uterus and still need to swim up to fallopian tube before it can work. From my research so far, there's less assurance that count of below 10m would work as by the time they finished with their washing and preparation, much would have been lost. Even the remaining ones might not be strong enough to penetrate an ovum. I'd suggest if both donor and dh's swimmers could be mixed up, that way you never know which worked except a DNA test is done. Gives better peace of mind for one anticipating use of donor. My opinion though. @topalistic

tanks alot, pls can you recommend a Fertility clinic, he was seeing Urologist at LUTH, nd his doctor referred me to O&G in LUTH, where I had all checkup, scan and tests done, the consultant said we could try LUTH fertility clinic, don't know if its ok.

I suggest you try fertilsan m that pple have used with good reviews or even fertilaid products for me.
also look into detox n clean healthy diet.
daily juices with carrot n watermelon, kunu aya nd likes.

I support your husband's decision because having a baby to love makes you at rest and sometimes your breakthrough comes only when your heart is at rest.

Pls calm down and think well. He doesn't want to lose you or be embarrassed outside. That's why he suggested donor sperm. It is undastandable. But talk it over very well with him, pray hard too and be sure you yourself really want to do it. So it won't be an issue later on in future. There is nothing wrong in it but Nigerian society get as e be. Let it not be later, he will say this is not my child or his relatives will say this is not his child so no inheritance or right.
In the meantime, try aggressive suggestions mamas gave while you ponder over it.
My mother Inlaw would regularly tell me that men can father a child anytime however old but women can't. Dont know how true that is. God be with you.

Please don't let them put unnecessary pressure on you guys, it will only make him feel worse. Please go with the fertilisan m (order on amazon) and try to inculcate cucumber and co into his daily intake . You can make them into smoothies with tigernut and yoghurt. 3-6months is not long. You also can buy the female version to make you more fertile (if that's possible)so that even d little that he drops can go a long way
In the meantime, please try to treat him even better than how you would have wanted him to treat you if you were the one with issues. Shower him with love and attention, mentioning the issue only when extremely necessary. Finally, pray. I've read testimonies of 10% motility getting pregnant. I think a mama on this thread got pregnant despite the report of azoospermia given to her hubby.
