. I did a BPT on day31 which came out negative, I got a home pt strip and tried again yesterday afternoon which was also negative... Now I'm worried because I'm already getting pregnancy symptons like metallic taste, sore nippl.e and b.reast tenderness, bloated stomach... Maybe these are all in my head (imaginary pregnancy). Pls anyone with similar experience should shed some light, I aff tired!

To your question, i think it's not too early to start fertility testing, being that you have tried on your own for more than 1 year. Infact una really try o. Me, after 5 months, I started testing o.
Drs say you can visit a gyne after you have tried for 1 year on your own. I don't know why your Dr is insisting on you waiting for 2 whole years to know the cause/s of the delay
Also, I don't think you need to do anything to the af for now. My opinion? Watch it. Don't try to induce af. Give it another 2weeks to show on its own. Then, run another hpt or bpt.
If it's still bfn (we hope for bfp sha), then you can meet your Dr, for af to be induced. Then start running these tests -: a cd3 and cd21 hormone profile, TVS/ follicullar tracking (at the period you think you would normally ovulate), and a hsg. Then, try and convince dh to run a SFA. These will give you a rough idea on what you are battling with. And how to tackle them.

I'm even suspecting the lab attendant that coducted the BPT she made a silly mistake by piercing the wrong side to draw out blood. I later got to know she was just an accountant for the lab...maybe she didn't do it well. (Those are the assumptions we make while TTC, we just want it positive) thanks

The gynea we met gave us a stat of 80%-20%. That 80% of newly married get pregnant immediately after sex while the remaining 20% get pregnant within 2yrs. I can't even wait any longer, DH and I have already planned to start medical test this month.

2years is way too long. One year is enough to start seeing a gynae. As for me, one thing I know to induce AF is intimacy. BD like 3 times in a day, if you are not preggy, AF will show. I wish you a BFP!

with blocked tubes , pregnancy cannot be achieved until the tubes are cleared . we have a couple of mamas here that have gotten their tubes cleared with serrapeptase, xi xian can and yi mu cao ( both chinese herbal teas, and then the fertility castor oil massage . this combination is a must which you strictly have to adhere to for 3 months then you do a tubal flushing . if you read through the thread you'll see a lot of write ups and suggestions on tubal blockage . there is also another thread on nairaland mainly for tubal blockage . so please dear mama, don't think about serrapeptase and co " go into action , start taking them and commit the rest to God .

mean while still on the same tubal blockage matter , there is this woman on youtube i think her handle is Roperfamily2012 , she had blocked tube and she treated with serrapeptase , she just got her BFP a couple of days ago , I'm waiting for her to come up with her WIDD. that brought hope to me . and omg I'm not taking it easy on serrapeptase at all and No! there are no side effects with serrapeptase , though its usually advised that you start with low SPU at the beginning .... so to all the tube shey kini mamas , those tubes must surely clear o ... na God give us serrapetase , so our tubes must clear as far as God is concerned .

D sonographer was not around according to them, so the owner he cald a lady I suspect is a nurse somewhere,she entered d room with him, I guessed he was showing her how it was going to b done.Naso I entered ooo,she wanted to insert d instrument herself *like sey she wan do VE for Peggy woman* , I collect d tin, insert am myself....
She started showing Wot I couldn't see ooo,the screen didn't change 1 bit, so I asked for d measurement of follicle to know if it improved,na so she excuse herself go chk my previous result for last month, she came back telling me dat my follicle improved by 1cm ooo,my face changed 1 time, I went to meet d owner immediately , told him I couldn't pay for service I didn't get,so he told me to come bk on sat dat he is going to call my doctor to come n chk for me

I met my doctor later and he told me I shouldn't mind them that Dia machine is faulty at d moment.... That is how God saved me from wasting 3k and not getting a negative result.

my hubby LSC and was advice to see a Urologist, after test and scan he was diagnosed with varicocele, he had varicolectomy done but the LSC is still below 1m, i hav done all scan and test, HSG shows my tubes are ok all my test result and scan are perfect, he was placed on a drug for 3 months (Enhanz) still no improvement, hubby is advocating for IUI wit a donor sperm pending when he can be financially ok for ICSI or IVF. seeking for advice on the next step to take.

This is something you and anyone in similar shoes could investigate.

I was once in your situation before I suffered from candida yeast infection for almost Three years and I went through hell I want to a private hospital was treated for it but it kept coming back. used herbs I was relieved but still was not completely cured to cut the long story short I went to a government hospital and was given so antibiotics and i was free from candida for for a couple of months no symptoms of it at all I was still curious and couldn't believe it so I used one seed of guifeo removed it on day 3 and all hell broke lose I got this heavy irritating discharge with intense itching so I went to the pharmacy to buy the same antibiotics that was prescribed for me at the govt hospital and the symptoms disappeared still curious I went to hospital and did vaginal swab, urinal analysis and endocervical swab and there was no trace of any infection
these are the drugs that I used to conquer candidas
1. DIFLAZON (fluconazole) 50mg X3 once daily for 2 days
2. Flagyl 200mg X 2 3 times daily for 5 days
3. Vitamin C 200mg X 2 3 times daily for 5 days
4. Doxycycline 100mg X 1 morning and 1 at night for 5 days
5. KLOVINAL Vaginal Pessaries one to be inserted at night for 6 days the pessary to be refrigerated for like 30 minutes before you insert it .

note: I changed my diet during the cause of the treatment I reduce my carbs intake and i eat fruit for breakfast and i bought the same drugs for hubby except the pessary lol..

CLOMID WORSENED MY CYCLE!!

Good morning beautiful mamas. I Don weak for this ttc mata no be small. My cycle used to be like clockwork (28days). After I had my first baby, my cycle scattered! 35 days today, 45 days tomorrow, 50 days the next. I was told it would normalise, but for where? My doc prescribed Clomid which normalized my cycle and made me produce multiple eggs, but belle no show. I have taken Clomid for four cycles intermittently. Any cycle I don't take Clomid, I have very immature follicles at ovulation. I have told him Clomid didn't work for me and he prescribed letrozole and that if it doesn't work, then I should get ready for IVF. I nearly piss for body. Please mamas help me oooohhh. who has experienced this before? I don't want to take Clomid again. Would I start ovulating normally with time when the Clomid clears from my system or should I go ahead and take the letrozole? Why do I take to clear the Clomid off my body? And for how long do would it take to ovulate normally? AF just reared her ugly head. I Don taya. sorry for the long post Biko.
