Thank you all.
From the little i know about fibroids, firstly,i think the location matters and also, the size and the numbers. If you have been advised by your physician to remove it,then have an open mind towards the surgery.I have heard and seen people who had surgery and went on to conceive when given the all clear. For herbals or any other method,i think size matters too, most of these herbal drugs are meant to be taken over a period of time.Do you think you will have patience for that?In using alternatives,i have seen people who after spending money still end up doing surgery.Maamas have given their input, its up to you to make the right decision.

Hello Mama dbeauty, hope you are doing well. I'm also dealing with fibroids (intramural) and have been working on my diets mainly to reduce the size (range from 2cm to 5cm) and it is working (bleeding is reduced and I hardly take tranaxemic acid during my periods again (only when I'm stressed due to work) . you may consider surgery depending on the location and size, and what your gynea is saying. I have heard about the hospital you mentioned- south shore, I was told the gynea in charge is very good with minimally invasive fibroid surgery only that they are very pricey. Please ensure you get the best hands if you decide to go for surgery.

Also trying to reduce with herbs is also good even if you eventually go for the surgery.

Apart from diet and ACV, you can also add Organic black strap molasses. detox regularly ( aloe vera drink, lemon, mint leaves, ginger and cucumber infused water, vegetable diet, eating lots of oil free ugwu works for me), try some aerobics (if you can because it is painful o). I have also tried baking soda, only that e no easy to take am.

I intend to add the uziza seeds to my routine soon someone shared the info on this thread a while back. Will let you know when I do. Wishing you all the best.

Baby dust to every one

dbeauty:

Thank you so much for your explanations. the fibroid is multiple and ranges from 2cm to about 10cm..its a little above my navel. was told its like the size of a 7 months pregnancy. So I was advised to remove it..Just that stories about surgery poorly done gets me worried. It is subserosal and submucosal..I wish I could take it out just to have a fresh breathe of life.I bleed heavily during menstruation, constant back ache, frequent urination (I pee more than 5 times at night - and that's on days I don't drink too much water) I have a very bulgy tummy..most people just call me iya ibeji.sometimes I laugh it off but some blue days I get home and weep my heart out..we have been ttc for awhile and I am just so depressed..keep feeling I am the cause of the delay and that is messing with my mind. Please ma'am, how can I get the herbal treatment you mentioned? Please, any suggestion and help is highly appreciated.

Thank you once more..God bless you.

@dbeauty another thing I am confident about is I will never have fibroids issue again cos, once I have my baby I will start taking the herbs to prevent reoccurrence , since I have a long way to get to menopause.

dbeauty, sorry about the fibroids. I also think you should have them removed. Pray about it and God will guide you and give you success.

Page 2000 year I gained admission to study law at the university, overjoy kill me that year,my shakara was times 2, that year.before this thread will run to the year I got married God Almighty would have opened and bless my womb for supernatural conception, Amen, Baby dust to us all.

Pls make up your mind and go for the surgery. From what you wrote, they're multiple and large. Can even cause abortion even if you manage to take in. There are good hospitals that have specialists. You may state your location so people can mention trusted hospitals in your area. In all, your mindset will help the matter if only you keep thinking positively. God being on throne, everything is dependent on Him.

@New blessed moms wishing you safe carriage and God's abundant grace. It's marvellous in our eyes.

Hmm MummyKryti, if possible please use another centre, I don't like union for anything sorry to say, in my opinion their VI branch is still a bit okay, that Yaba and ikeja branch is nothing to write home about plus the reviews on here are not too encouraging.

@Newmum0615, shocked shocked shocked hope they sterilized the equipment or used another one for u o, I mean what you saw is just the height of unprofessionalism for me, why would they leave such instrument where you would see it, plus HSG shouldn't even be that bad that one should bleed to start with. *shudders*

BECAUSE OF LONG OR SHORT CYCLE, SOME PEOPLE GO WHEN af hasnt totally ended...that is likely the cause of the blood u saw.
hsg doesnt come with bleeding..only minor spotting afterwards. i dont like union diagnoistics, they seem shoddy and over laboured

Density, sorry about what you are going through. Since you've been advised of the sizes of the growth, I would encourage you to prayerfully make a decision. Most of all these herbs are what some pple used and still eventually had to do the surgery. I would also add that you might want to consider a teaching hospital over a private hospital (just my opinion). God will guide you in making the best decision. You will come back and share your testimony of a successful surgery in Jesus name.
