Hello ladies,have been ttc for a year plus now.went for pelvic ultrasound scan,scan showed PID.took antibiotics.went for another scan,follicolumetery.scan showed LUF(luetenized unruptured follicle)am on clomid and pregnacare conception.pls ladies in the house can sombody recommend a gud hosp where I can go for HSG am new in LAG.TANKs and baby dust to us all com dis 2012.

@ all --- Hmm where do i start from. OK. I have been TTC since Feb2010, and my period became very irregular in June, i thought maybe i was because i relocated but lo it continue and i did pelvic scan on 31/12/10 and i was told i have small fibroid which cant affect my chances of getting pregnant. So the doctor asked my hubby to do some test which all came out fine and i was asked to do HSG or Hy-cosy in march but i was not able to do it until today @ last . The results says my right tubes is OK and that she cant see anything in the left tube and that i have PCOS and it was discovered when i did pelvic scan but the person never to me or my Dr Imagine that
I have been using pregnacere conception,and i want to add evening primose, have prayed and fasted, in fact i made up my mind that I'm not going to fast over it again, thou i will continue praying normally and i will try and not to pray over pregnancy again. I now avoid some calls and people because I'm feel ashamed, almost everybody that got married after me now have their kids . This issue do make me goes on and off with my thinking and behaviours.
Despite all odds, I'm very confident that the Lord who has helped me this far will give me my twins sooner than expected. 2012 whether the devil likes it or not, i going to carry my children in my hands as my Lord liveth and he soul liveth. I just feel ashame and down atimes and have also planed to stop calling all the pastors i know that i normally call before.

I was hoping there is a way to get this drugs in Nigeria without prescription. I just want to try things on my own. My Uterine linning is thin,i needed something to thicken it up before OV. My doctor refused to prescribe anything for the linning issue . If there is any useful information,pls drop.

@bukieluv great idea to stop calling the pastors, I am not an atheist i love G-d, but sometimes these pastors need more prayers for their own lives than you. If you stop calling them try meditation. Here is what i did i meditated on becoming pregnant here is what i envisioned in my mind, I saw my egg being fertalized by my husbands sperm, i saw the egg implanting in my uterus, i saw the baby growing from a tiny seed to a full term baby, then i enviosed myself giving birth to a healthy baby. I meditated on this for months and eventually it came to be a reality i got pregnant and gave birth to my son.
Another meditation i did was passing a healing light through my body and seeing all my afflictions being healed, i focused on my womb and as i meditated i said may g-d healing light cure me. As i did this meditation i told myself i was cured of all afflictions that where preventing me from getting pregnant, i convinced myself of that fact.
All i am trying to say in this long post is that meditation works

]HAPPY NEW YEAR TTC FORUM!!! The year 2012 is here the year of completion  !!!!What God has started in your lives must be complete this year.
A lot has been going on here congratulations to all the new mom's, expecting moms and congratulations in advance to the moms who will get pregnant and give birth this 2012.
My son is now a 13 months old wow  time sure flies by so fast . I thank God for everything. I want to say thank you to people who take there time to reply questions and give encouragement .
I am exhausted  from giving excuses  as to why I don't come in daily  i really wish i could come  and share all i know and give words of encouragement every single day  but it is not working for me that way right now. (just feel so guilty don't know why) I hope and pray everyone who comes here finds some sort of energy and encouragement that will give them that extra push they need to believe and trust in God that no matter how bleak it may look now that they will hold a baby in there hands some how  sometime soon.

I have been diagnosed with having low progesterone among other things so want to be using something to improve it[img][/img] ( after ovulation)

@ shilo its called "cyclogest" i used the vaginal tablet in the past after ovulation and it works well i paid 5600 naira for a pack of 10. It worked better than the gel, i found that it stayed in there longer than the gel that leaked out soon after putting it in. When im in canada i used "prometrium" which is also a good vag. tablet. Sorry my post is kinda graphic.
If you can find anyone of those they are great @ acheiving what you want also if your diagnoisd with low progesterone, you may want to use the progesterone till @ least 13 weeks minimum of pregnancy and if you can go the long haul then to term @ 37 weeks. Progesterone helps to reduce miscarriges early in pregnancy and also pre term labour in the later stages of pregnancy.

@agiboma,Thanks for the reply. I don't live in Port Harcourt nor have any relatives there. Is there anyway you can help me get those drugs from the Medicine Mart,I don't mind sending you the money to cover for the cost and courier. BTW,I stay in Benin city and i hope you don't mind. I am expecting to OV tommorrow(CD14),my RE gave me HCG trigger this morning to make me OV. I was on Tamoxifen CD2-6 as a substitute for clomid since it was thinning out my linning. I didn't respond well to the med,it only gave me one dominant follicle(18mm) , Endometrial linning(8mm) and i hope it will be enough to get my BFP.

I know i am suppose to start the progestetone suppositories on 2DPO,will one 400mg at bedtime be enough? I will only buy the Estradiol next cycle if this one is a burst. I will keep you informed. Btw,your e-mail is hidden in your profile.

@ camary thanks for posting the message i also deleted my number.
@ champs when i was using the pastries i used only 200mg daily so 400 is pretty high. I used it @ night after me and hubby did our stuff
Another good medication that i found worked well for me in making my progesterone levels higher and also preparing my body for pregnancy was metformin 500mg 3X a day. I used it with my son until i was 13 weeks pregnant. But this medication takes time to work you need to take it 6 weeks before it starts to have a positive effect on acheiving pregnancy. Wishing you the best of luck champs. Remeber to stay in bed @ least 30 min after you and hubby finish and try to elevate you hip, to help the little swimmers reach their destination faster

To everyone in the house,it's been quite a while,happy new year to u all.I have been ttc to conceive too and God has been faithful,He honours his word more than his name! I got married in march'11 my marriage will be a year in march this year. I started getting worried in my 3rd month of marriage,thus in d 4th month i decided to see a gynae,my story did not really moved him as he advised me not to worry that it will come but i persisted then we started on carrying out some test!I went thru a scan which showed (according to d doc)that i have a little fibroid which may not be d actaul cause,after that i was tested for any infection and it came out negative,next was HSG in d 5th month and i told d doctor i'm scared of doing that as i have heard alot about how painful it is.At d end i told myself i'm not going to run that test as i'm sure i dont have any blocked tubes,then i informed hubby too and we agreed to be praying about it. Then my sister came and recommended one drug to me,i started taking it and in d 6th month i missed my period.To THE GLORY OF GOD I'M 16WEEKS GONE NOW. Our God is marvelous!
