I think phone has really, done more harm to me than good.

It makes me procrastinate... What i will have to do now, i will be tinking of leaving it the next day just to surf on NL.

I makes me lazy... All the time phone.. No time to do other thing, even if i get, i go just receive notification from fb, nl... Hia dere i go no more chores..

Makes me depressed if my ba3 is down, e go just be like say world don end...

Lastly, am currently suffering from finger pain... Too much pim pim pim, my finger they hot like fire...

Some times i go give my friends d phone in other to engage something in one way or thee other... But after dem return am.. Haa.. I go calculate all those days wey i neva press join, come see phone destroyer

Switch off notifications from all social media. Discipline yourself to check your sites maybe twice a day. Leave your phone at home if you are going to school/work, or alternatively, dont carry it around on you, leave it in your office.

If it is getting to be an obsession, delete all your social media profiles.

I was a phone freak until last year march when d smart phone I bought n had barely used fell n d screen got smashed. Taking it for repairs, I was told it wld cost 15k. That was d END! Switch off all alert tone for your whatsapp and other chatting application.. Trust me it works real good for me.

U know no matter what p pipo say here its up to u. Force urself not to subscribe may or may not work, I personally cnt do without data, but I do succeed in keeping it aside when I need to do stuff, rada than procrastinate doing oda stuff or chores. I procrastinate touching the phone when I have to work and I silence the bloody thing at such times so temptation wnt come. when praying silence it, chores and taking care of yourself, silence it. ur more important than the phone. Besyds this makes me think u dnt have a job (no b yarb) I work from home editing videos and at such times I keep the phone far/charging and silence it so I dnt hear it and I see it as too far away for me to get. Well its a real struggle. You hav to start doing other things sha that makes the phone less interesting, when out playing a sport like football or tennis, who cares abt a phone. But how finger dey pain una, thats anoda levu. aint it touch screen Y'all using?

Brother if that phone is not part of your side income i.e. if you are not using for the purpose of earning a living getting a Life would suffice; hangout with friends ( even if say dem too must get the same ogbanje problem), read a book (Mills and Boon not included), argue with your street professors( ndi ama mi ihie no na street unu) and better still learn a new language.

If all these haven't helped, get a "DUMB PHONE". ( Any phone costing less than 3000 naira with a monochromatic screen)

op i was once in ur shoes,when i bought my first android hmm u neva see chomchin i dey inside kitchen soup wey dey ontop fire go burn dey smell i no go knw phone show me until it was stolen my pops man come carry nokia 2700 give tell me say no more android for me until phone spirit leave,na then i com determine say i go make without phone na so i carry de phone go keep for their room,i stayed without phone(not even nokia touch) for complete 3 months(bro e no easy oh) nah for my bday dem com carry samsung s2 give me till now i dont give a shit abt my phone.try it op it will work for u.
