Deilluminator:
Is part of exercise. Endure, there's light at the end of the tunnel.
There is never light at the end of a Nigerian tunnel, once it is dark it remains dark. Better find a lantern to illuminate your vision cos Nigeria his a hellhole.

Some athletes who are to represent Nigeria in track and field events at the Olympics have been begging for financial support. They launched GoFundme account to raise money from the public. Is this a shame to Nigeria and her government?

Nigeria. . . . successfully embarrassing herself before the world at every slightest opportunity.

Common olympic preparation, not winning o, just preparedness. . . over the bar.

I even heard our soccer team got to Brazil 1hr before their opening game?

Unbelievable

That even made it worse, meaning there is a pattern now of the government neglecting the athletes....

These are not the athletes representing us in Rio. I have seen this same clip sometime in July, I guess it is the world Junior athletic championship. I am not in anyway supporting the govt for this shameful behavior but pointed this out just set the record straight.

Hahaha! What does anyone expect? Nigeria is so corrupt to its own detriment!

Someone looted the money for the upkeep of these poor athletes. What a shame!

Whenever government sends ordinary citizens abroad to represent Nigeria, the people are usually abandoned to carter for themselves, because the organizers always loot the fund! But when thieving politicians travel abroad, they usually have endless access to public funds even when the trips are completely irrelevant to the welfare of ordinary of citizens!

Giving a Nigerian money to organise anything, is like telling him/her to steal the money!

That is what you get, when you have a president who is pretending to love sports. A sports minister, who doesn't have any clue about sports, and a NFF president who has no Passion for sports.

This is one of the reasons why people find it difficult to be patriotic in this country. How can one be loyal to a country that maltreats its citizens? Each time people are reciting the national pledge "to be faithful loyal and honest", I normally keep quiet. A typical American will say " God bless America " Can a typical Nigeria say " God bless Nigeria" with this maltreatment?
