cheapest and fastest way of paying school fees,
well, for me,

i used Air choice in opebi ikeja, they re just a travel agency, that sell ticket, do bureau de change and transfer to the uk,
i transfered 7,500 pounds in total,
basically, they ve an office in london, when u give them the money, they tell thier office to credit the account in the uk, simple,
mine transfer was done in 3hours, my school confirmed they got the money,
u can walk into thier office urself,
not sure i ve the number any office, but its opebi ikeja, just after the opebi bridge, before u get to the traffic light,

beta still, if u ve a domicillary account, 3-5 working days to clear,

@Justwise
You owe me an apology and restitution over the damage you have done to my reputation and business. I received same scam e-mail from mike.apiit just like you did, but you have been chasing me around on NL and doing incalculable damage to my biz.

I did n't know all this was happening because I have not visited travel section for some time now. Please revisit that screenshot and see for yourself. I was a recipient NOT the sender of that mail.

Dayo1401,
I welcome you. You have earned the good work you sowed back then. Its now we can truly say justice delayed is never denied. Am freaking happy for you brother. Moreso, on the contributions you have dropped in since you stepped in. On behalf of those whom you have helped in support of advice rendered I say God bless you. To Justwise too, gracias brother. God bless you as well.

Dayo, getting distracted can however be synonymous to loosing focus. A time sheet will be very helpful. I'm sure you will figure what am saying to be true along the line. Wish you sucess on brother and wish you all the best.

To everyone awaiting to apply, follow the rules and pray to God to balance it for you, knowing at the back of your mind that no application is perfect, hence, you should just pray that all errors and omission are to your own favour.

Tchao.

U need the result and certificate to apply for the course, i think u should make an effort to get them from ur uni. cos u will also need them for visa application

If the school accept only the transcript then thats all u need to submit to the embassy for visa application.

hi

great thread.
pls i have a question. i applied for entry visa tier 4 against sept and was turned down because the money in my account did not stay in the account for 28days(going by the conversion @ 250 naira to one pound)

i obtained admission for jan2011 @ the same school, updated my school fees such that i dont have any out standing and have gotten a fresh cas. my bank statement now has the required 5400 GBP in it.
1. can i apply for a visa afresh without any problems?
2. do i have to show evidence of accomodation?
3 do i have to submit all the docs i did the last time(as i now know some where irrelevant)
4. do i need the english testing thingie>?

[/b]Sure u can make afresh application but nobody can promise u a trouble-free application, though its posible but not 100% guaranteed.
You don't need to show evidence of accommodation though u can if u want.
The only doc you have to submit are those listed as requirements. ur CAS, bank statement, certificates/transcript. etc

@lolatom

the embassy will still verify your transcript from the school. as long as the transcript is addressed to yourself, you can use it

I just scrolled up again and saw the extent of your concerns, if your educational sponsor has offered you admission based on your transcript only and lists just that in your CAS as the documentary evidence they used in making their decision, you need not worry, the embassy will scrutinize the things in your CAS.The only snag might be when they proceed to verify the transcript from ur nigerian university

its quite a unique situation but ALL things are possible to those who believe
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered by Dannyboy80: 9:47am On Nov 04, 2010
@lolatom.you don't need to send a copy of your transcript to the Embassy. Get ur transcript, but it should be fully addressed to the BHC, submit it with ur application.make sure u don't submit it enclosed in envelope.

God bless you for the response, do u think my pending result with the school authorities would be an issue with the embassy since I didn't apply with my result but my transcript alone? I'm just curious,

thank you so much for the response,i dnt understand what u mean? shud I direct the school to address a copy of my transcript to the embassy? and what do u mean by i shudn't submit it enclosed in the envelope? pls shed more light on this.
you guys are so wonderful.

@ lola

what he means by that is you should get original transcript of you school in your hand, the school can address it to any body, BHC or whoever,
the most important thing is to have the original transcript of your degree from you school, a signed, stamped copy, schowing your name, class of degree, name of awarding institution and date of award of degree,

now most schools wouldnt give u the transcript in ur hand, infact all school, so u might want to grease the elbow of whoever, is in charge, so they can give it to you,
better still, u might tell them to address it to whoever, and then ve it sent to your own post address, as if that is the organization postal addres,
the main thing is ve your original transcript submitted,

u dont submit it in enclosed envelope, BHC isnt interested in who it was address to, infact u dont need to submit it with the letter with it,

i submitted my transcript also,

anyhow u want to do it, submit orginal copies of your transcript, not sealing them up in any envelope, not sure what inside, maybe the school even made a mistake.

hope u got that straight

the problem is this, I was supposed to have graduated in 2008 but i had 2 extra years n still I failed the same course and the university authorities have not decided whether to graduate me or not which means I am hanging in the balance.{I'm neither an undergraduate nor a graduate at least for now}
i applied for and got my transcript last year detailing my result up till june last year{I still did an extra year in sch up till june 2010} and I want to know if i can still apply to the embassy with this transcript, the UK college gave me admission for an advanced diploma course based on this transcript.
what should I fill in the visa application form? should i say I have graduated or I'm still an undergraduate? if i say i have graduated, won't I need to produce my certificate? Please I need serious clarifications on this.
thanks all

i dont think u need to get ur self worked out over this, UK

from what u said, u probably dont need to be a graduate to study ur course in advance diploma level, and ur school was certified with your qualifcation before giving u addmisiion,

i will say, whatever is on ur CAS, as the document accessing by the institution before giving u an unconditional offer, should be included,

if u havent completed ur degree, it simply means, u re an undergraduate, for simplicity,

if u re sch as accessed ur qualification, wit that transcript, it will be stated in ur CAS,
whatever, qualifcation stated in ur CAS, for ur addmission, is what u shud include, if u were given an admission based on that transcript, go ahead and include it,

ur CAS should state something, what exactly is there, as a means of accessing ur qualification

I'm a newcomer on this thread and i really need help from justwise or any other experienced people. My brother wants to Sponsor me for Undergraduate studies in a University or College but he said he can only afford to pay 1000 pounds as the initial fee deposit and also put 3.5 million in my account for 28days if my admission is granted.I need help on getting recognised universities or Colleges that offers admission in Business or Computer Science and accepts 1000 pounds deposit if granted admission .I already have a National Diploma and WAEC.Hope i don't need to write Toefl since i already have credits in English and all other subjects.I would have applied to some Universities but i don't know the amount i would be asked to pay if offered admission.I would like to hear back from Justwise or any other knowledgeable person on the subject matter. Thanks and God bless.

Some universities will accept £1000 as deposit, If u are doing any course below degree level then u will be asked to do Toefl.
Take your time and go through this link, http://extras.timesonline.co.uk/stug/universityguide.php, visit their websites and check out the fees and deposit. Its not as hard as u may think. 3.5m will be enough for you to meet the requirements. Look at the universities from 50 ranking up.

Other good NL members here will contribute as well, many of them are very good
