Please, I'd like to know if one can apply for a UK students' visa about two months before school starts. Precisely, I'm resuming school in september but i want to attend my brother's graduation in london which comes up in July. I hope they won't think I want to go and work before school starts. Honestly, that is nowhere in my plans.

You will be allowed to come upto a month b4 the start of ur course, i'm not sure if u will be allowed in 2months early

If you submitted 8th of April u can still get the visa b4 15th of April, some get theirs under a week, as long as there is no prob with ur application

@Justwise,pls there is another issue that i want clarity on,i am planning to get my student visa and then travel to saudi arabia, where my husband is currently working then travel to UK from there.My question is,do you think i might have a problem when entering uk,since i got my student visa from Nigeria but i travelled from saudi arabia.

You shouldn't have any problem at all. You maybe asked some questions at the airport why u take that route and u explain to them

He may have to go with visit visa, do you have accommodation already in the UK? If not then he can make hotel reservation. He needs letter from his company, ur family pictures, enough money to last for his duration of stay(that could be anything from £5,000 up). He need to make list of places he want to visit while in the UK.

Ok, what sort of accommodation are u going to get? Studio flat? student shared accommodation? The reason for traveling have to be stronger than helping u to adjust/settle down, as a matured student u can look after urself pretty well.
£1000 will be ok IF you have ur[b] (£5400 or 7200)[/b] maintenance and school fees, the proof of accommodation and return ticket. His bank statement where his salary goes in should be good enough for proof of income.

Now if u have all the requirements, e.g. ur school fees, maintenace fees, accommodation, his bank statement, letter from his company etc, then he can make a note stating that he is going to the UK as part of his holiday while u are going to study,however, if £1000 is all he has in his account and he wants to stay a month then one will wonder how he will survive after visiting the UK.

Showing more than £1000 doesn't mean that he is going to spend all in the UK, it will show that he has more than enough to travel to the UK and has something to fall back on when he comes back.
One room accommodation in the UK could mean anything, it could be one room in a shared flat of students where u have to share facilities with other students and ur hubby can't share that with u for more than few days, it could also mean a studio accommodation but u will have ur own kitchen,shower/toilet.So b4 u pay for the accommodation, try and find out what type its. Yes he should state that he is going to the UK with u but he is using it as part of his holiday while u are going for study.

You don't even need to print it out, all u need there is the CAS number, when u are filling the visa form u will be asked for the CAS number, the BHC has a copy already.

CAS replaced the admission letter sometime last yr or so.

I never knew anybody or come across anybody who uses loan document to apply for UK student visa, however, you still have to follow the financial rule which is having the money in ur account for 28days untouched. You will have to travel with that money cos u will really really really need it, some school will ask u to show that money when u get to the UK if u haven't paid all the fees.

They gave some condition for loan letter as
1) The loan letter must be dated no more than six months before the date of your application
2) There must be no conditions on the release of the loan funds to you, other than your making a successful Tier 4 application.
3) Loan letter must be on your name only. (no other option )

You can apply for family visit visa, he need to send u data page of his passport, tenancy agreement( not a room in shared accommodation) bank statement with enough money that will be ok for your stay, you can include your own bank statement as well and invitation letter.
