I love television especially cable tv and had the luxury of "home paid" subscription when I was still with my parent. Since staying alone, I had only been able to afford a strong decoder and a small dish due to the space. I'm tired of watching just the press tv and some funky nollywood movies.I'm thinking of getting a Mytv smart card buh I need a professional advices from the gurus. Can I do sometin better with a small dish especially since I don't have access to star time or Gotv reception my current location (Niger state).

If u have money, say around 10k, u could get an mpeg 4 decoder like srt 4669x or 4669x11, or 4322 and use ur dish to pick multi tv, where u get steady movies, nigerian movies, aljazeera, bbc, music, etc. Ur best bet. Regards.

Astra 4a @ 4'e foe etv hyde park
Ew3a @ 7'e for mbc 3
Ew5w @ 5'w for ENTV (programme national)
NNS 7 @ west for entv also.

igwemoagbo: Morning. I recently bought liberty star t1 decoder. And got an airtel line and credit 2k. But after a while,precisely 1month now, it hardly shows anymore.it take hours to dial a channel. And breaks off signal easliy. Pls what do I do about this? Cos I still have enuf airtel on that simcard.

For rdv, first get multitv on 12523 v 19531. Fine tune to the highhest %. Den input 11024 h 03333 and standing behind the dish, raise it up alittle and to ur right. Play around dia and u should hit pay dirt. Fine tune it well and blind scan. U should get not less dan 70 channels on dat location alone. Revert back here if u hit any difficulty. Regards.

Do u mean adding extra lnb to ur dish? The secret is to be creative. The aim is to attarch another lnb. So just improvise, once u get wat u want at the end. Example is when we started combining astra 2abd and ew4/7. Some called it shoe string method where u use rubber, string, pieces of wood, selotape, etc, once u get wat u want.

So go ahead and try out ur creative side.

NB: when u want to add an lnb for a satellite dat is above ur primary one, u attarch it below ur primary and when the satellite is below ur primary, u put it above. Regards.

Just make astra 2f ur primary, den attach the second lnb a little below it.
Or make ew3c ur prmary and find a way to attach the second lnb a little above and to the left of the primary lnb.
