Vipingo Ridge Golf Course is the ONLY PGA Accredited Golf Course in Africa, having attained the privileged status last year. There are only a handlful of these in the world. Soon the Tiger Woods and the Rory Mcllroys of the world will be teeing off leisurely in Kenya.
Kenya PGA Tour could soon be joining the World Professional golf tours circuit that includes the US PGA Open, the European PGA Open and the Asia PGA Open.

PGA Head of Property and Development Guy Moran said: “It is the first time that we have accredited a golf course on the African Continent. We are glad that Kenya has now joined the league of PGA branded facilities around the world.”

I know of a few people playing in the west African golf tour they are like the first people playing golf in the whole of Nigeria

We have done well for ourselves for sports the populatation care about

I'm amazed at the wonderful photos of Nigeria Kenya isnt outpacing Nigeria on this thread as I thought would happen. I'm amazed since I didn't think there'd be much photos on Nigeria since Nigeria isn't classed as one of the holiday destination unlike Kenya, Seychelles, Bahamas and so on and subsequently wouldn't have travel companies like Thomas cook, holiday makers, researchers and travel writers photos to draw upon. Conversely, Nigeria does have a lot of negative images to contend with curtsey of the fact that the West (well whites generally that do like their coons) is more hostile to Nigeria than any other nation I can think of in Africa, except maybe lately Zimbabwe. Nigeria is indeed a great nation and, largely too, an undiscovered one (first hand) by the world
