Salma Paralluelo is 18 years old and she has scored important goals that helped Spain qualify for the Final yet 99% of people on this thread and even the coaches of the Super Falcons look down on teenage wonder teens and young stars that could have been in the Super Falcons squad.

Gift Monday that was the youngest among the Forward players was not given enough game time...

You're not making the argument you think you're making. Respectfully Salma and Gift are in different worlds.

First, Salma is 19 and like Caicedo there are exceptions and not the rule. How many of her mates are in the world cup? For her to have been selected it means she's simply worlds apart from her colleagues.

She didn't just get a free pass to the team, she's a regular part of the best women's football team in that world. She's won the u17 and u20 world cup. She's won the La Liga and the champions League. She's not just anybody. She plays in the same league as Gift. Please compare their stats. Put them side by side and see who's better. Also, she doesn't even get to start. She's come in as sub in both games she scored.

Second, Vicky Lopez is the best u17 player ok the world, she didn't because of that her taken to the world cup because there are simply better players that play her role. Funny thing is, had some of the 12 players who opted out because of the coach been considered, maybe Salma wouldn't have even made the team.

We shouldn't take exceptional players and use them as points of comparison to ours. By the way, Demehin is from the same class and played every game at the world cup. Use as next time when comparing.

They don't want Randy full stop. They are trying to wait it out and see how events unfold. They may even have a local coach take us to th AFCON qualifiers next month against Sao Tome and Principe. We'll definitely win, so that'll further strengthen their sentiments for a new coach.

They are also hoping Randy gets another job soon so they won't have to make that decision.

Sorry but what were you expecting him to answer?

Even if he wants Randy it would be unprofessional for him to make a statement that NFF did not agree on.

My comment isn't a dunk in his response, but to the things I've heard.

There is a big difference between playing till 39 and playing in 6 world cups. That record is an undeniable fact.

About Onome's selection, stop the CAP. The same Waldrum that called out the NFF for trying to select his players. How did they then force Onome on him? Someone that started the last 2 friendlies before the world cup and scored a goal, which kind of talk is this na?

Oh boy Basco, leave this talk we, do u want to go there with a player to break world cup appearances or u want to go there with a full strong squad to win the world cup.

Well I know definitely you wanna win the world cup with a full solid team whereby when a player is hurt in the tournament or is suspended from next match you are very sure of the backups on ground. Please don't let people hate Ebi, she has had an excellent career. We appreciate her efforts. We appreciate her sacrifices. We appreciate all that she has done for the green, white and green. God bless her for her strong patriotism of wanting to represent us in the next world cup. However, 4 years time from now is a different ball game. She will most likely have a decline in speed and abilities and that's not want going forward. We want everybody in the team justifiably there to win the world cup. We don't want no records on appearances. What's really special about that to the nation. We need to medal up. Since 1991 we have been present in all world cups. That record sef don do.

Haven’t heard much of 22yrs Mabel Okoye again, who’s eligible to play for Nigeria 🇳🇬, Spain 🇪🇸 and Ireland 🇮🇪

She won the U17 World Cup with Spain and have played for Atletico Madrid, Madrid CFF in the past and Currently playing for CD Atletico Balears.

It’s a nice gesture from the First Lady, but the NFF should also pay the players $60,000 each, once FIFA disburses the money after this WC!

England back in front from an Australian defensive error. Exactly the same gift England got from Colombia. grin

And England caps it with their third goal of the game.

It's all over for Australia.

Their defense was just too weak.

Sam Kerr wasted many big chances as well.

For real. England have benefited from TWO calamitous defensive lapses in two straight knockout matches! Maybe the stars are aligning with them to win it all

Every time Australia concedes in this world cup they end up conceding thrice. Against Nigeria and against England.

England clobbering Australia same England we almost beat. This is giving me USA 94 vibes when Nigeria almost eliminated eventual World Cup finalist Italy

I trust Spain. They will press and press England until their lungs shuts down. Sarina wingman should go and think how to contain them

This again shows how nonsensical the argument many made about how Nigeria should have beaten England and all simply because they were one woman down.

Whether you acknowledge it or not, when England chooses to be defensive, it becomes difficult (not impossible) for them to concede. Not one of the aerial balls that Australia is known for has worked. Australia could only score because of a defensive lapse on England's path and the sheer brilliance of Sam Kerr.

This is again reminding you guys that Nigeria did very well all things considered.

Yea

And the other USA 94 vibe is that the team Nigeria scored 3 goals against, advanced to the semis but were also eliminated at that round.

Congratulations to England 🇬🇧 but I am happy that that commentator did give the Nigerian Falcons their flowers 💐 by saying that the 3 Lioness were FORTUNATE to have gone pass them to book the quarter final slot.
