in that case see if you can find an older version that supports win2k |

^^^^ the problem with that is that the older versions will probably not be compatible with her phone - which i'm sure is a recent model |

I had the same problem with the new version of pc suite.The solution is using an older version like version 6.84 |

I tried connecting wit my brand new hp-pavillion-D6000.and i didnt recognise my phone as moderm,its asking to install my phone device.and it didnt work wit my pc-suite |

did it recognise anything when u connected your phone? go to devicemanager (win+r, in the box that comes up type devmgmt.msc) ; under modems what do you see? |

fones can be funny at times, have u checked that fone very well to be sure it doesnt have a place where u select the mode it will be when u plug in the usb, eg modem, data storage, printer etc. i know some nokia have that!! and samsung too |
