1. Lagos as the FC was confined to Lagos island for 7 years and not the mainland where all the industries that lured millions of Nigerians to Lagos state for work.

2. The industries were in the maniland, the SW region from Apapa to Ilupeju, Matori, Mushin and Ikeja industrial estates, all built by the government of the western region led by Awolowo.

3. Lagos was formally made a full state, including the mainland in 1967.

The FG built airports, seaports, federal institutions, and presence in other states including your own states so what's your point?


FG left Lagos decades ago so why is this still an excuse for your incompetent state governors inability to justify the taxes and allocations your incompetent governors collect on your behalf.

With all the rubbish you listed, Lagos's IGR was less than N500 million per month in 1999, but today, it's over N30 billion per month? Is this also because of the FG in Abuja or the good and competent governors in Lagos state?
