Ndu chuks where are you from na ? I have already told you that i am southern kaduna descent, middle belt by birth till death. I know beaf and ibime are from the Niger Delta, tpia is an iyawo, mekusx na stubborn Ndigbo, what about you ? Are you hiding something ?
When you finally reveal where you're from, tell us if you have a senator born in another part of the country representing your state/senatorial district ? If you have none, then learn from the middle belt that is a melting pot and home to all and sundry. Is there a single tribe that makes up the Niger delta ? No. Is there a single tribe that makes up the middle belt ? No . These areas have got what we call minority tribes with almost similar cultures. So an Ibibio man would naturally feel comfortable being associated with an Okrika man the same way a berom man would feel at home in the presence of an idoma man.
If you want more material say so and I'll post it for you.

nice to meet you kaduna man of middle belt origin grin.what of your real name , phone number and home address .ndu chuks maybe you want to give him such details. so he knows if he should hate you as for being a northerner or be puzzled you are not from the north entirely.
please look deeper in to conflicts in not just the North but nigeria.before all this nonsense what were the blood letting about.land, arguments between clans name it.humans fight for alot of reason-intrest .people group along common intrest ,sometimes even against others.you and others are doing this because above all your leaders need a piece of the cake.when you get it and they leavse you alone then someone else becomes the next foe.human nature.whether a senator or not.i don't know in your village which is most closes to you, how many times have you nominated a senator from southern nigeria? abi non of them dey eligible or reside there.maybe you want to remove the log in your eye first b4 you continue.
Encourage us by starting in your village moving up.don't extend your boundries to north east, deal with your immediate environment.how many times in your existance as a southern kaduna person have you nominated a southern nigerian as Governor, senator etc?you are as bad as they are.!Adamawa you are a good a example.we cherish what you have done.as much as you could lay claim by religion, i could lay by region, proximity and lot much more.we have a strong history with the numan people trade and alot more.i don't know outside the middle belt dream if you ever share direct contact with them.i respect the bachamas.they have every right to be happy they did something almost impossible.i won't claim there sweat.
An exampple while i was in Jos in my area we had normal primaries for elcetions to my greatest surprise, they tell you lets command numbers by uniting under religion voting our own.after all that, when they pass the critical huddles they just remind you that is all you are good for and then dump you for the indigene concept and greed. ask others there in Jos?is that hausa runs too or igbo or yoruba? It is in us all.you have non to show i don't but we could change all that.the post is to draw attention to the level of progress not claim terrritory.Stop the blaming game do something for the middle for the north for the Nok people for naija.

haka_nai,

Words of wisdom again from you. I hope edoyad learns from what you've written.

I know several Yoruba and Igbo people that should probably have more claim to Kaduna than people like edoyad. These people have lived in Kaduna for generations, many were born there, went to school there and have worked there for ages. These people should have equal rights to run for office, own land, and participate in government just like the gwaris, hausas, and "middle belters" who have lived in Kaduna for ages as well. The same equal rights should apply in every state in Nigeria. This is the main reason why I attempted to highlight the Adamawa senator.

edoyad is obsessed with my state of origin and I promise to tell him my state of origin as soon as he posts his home address, wife's (or GF's) name and address, place and date of birth, and the date he graduated from primary school. smiley

By the way, a Nigerian has a father. The Nigerian's father had a mother who is half Igbo and half Idoma. The Nigerian's mother had a father who is half Yoruba and half Fulani. This Nigerian was born while his father was living as a diplomat in Russia and he speaks the russian language fluently.

This Nigerian speaks, hausa, igbo, yoruba, and idoma fluently and he has very close relatives in just about every region in Nigeria. This Nigerian is married to an Ijaw princess.

edoyad's homework: Which tribe should this Nigerian claim? What should be his state of origin? What about the children of the Nigerian, what is their state of origin? Pray tell, olodo.

The fact remains that Nigeria was partitioned into three (3) original regions: North, West and East. Again, later political machinations saw creation of Mid-western region. However, sectional and ethnical politics had dictated the usage of certain political entities and nomenclatures such as Middles Belt, Niger Delta and the useless south-south.

I had hoped that most Nigerians understood the fact that Fulani, Hausa, Kanuri and Nupe politicians of then northern region of Nigeria used them to achieve the political ends of northern political elites.

I have said and continue to say that the innocence of Nigeria died on July 29, 1966 and the subsequent events that followed. I would want people to pronounce their ethnicity instead of hiding behind nomenclatures such as Middle Belt, Niger State and South-south.

Please don't call any people useless on baseless grounds. What the Niger Delta is clamouring for is the same thing many oil communities round the world are doing. The constitution of the country was designed to rob small communities and leave them for dead. Plateau state would have been going through the same had mining of tin not gone out of fashion with the discovery of oil.
