Cherryola: let us assume your sponsor has 2million in his account, you have to show documents that validates the source of the fund. in your case C.A.C documents (Certificate of Incorporation,Memorandum and Articles of Association ,Statement of Share Capital and Return of Allotment. Particulars of Persons Who Are First Directors of the Company) showing your sponsor has a registered business (Filling station) will do. I don't think the license is necessary, but hey it is not a crime to add it. You could also add your sponsor's tax receipts to backup this claims. However any other source of income from rented properties( rent receipts), paper investments(shares, stocks,bonds.....) etc would also fly. lastly, don't include pictures of the filling station as his source of income, rather it would have done good to serve as home tie only if it were yours or dad's property. 1 Like |

OriEyeLe:I am really sad about the outcome . I believe with time you will laugh last. Sometimes disappointments are a blessing in disguise. Please,I know the whole process of applying for a visa is not easy but somehow don 't give in to despair. Pick yourself up,strategize and re-fire. |

The first step is to search online for the school of your choice and apply for admission. Once you have a letter of admission, proceed to apply for study permit. The VOs eould usually focus on your sponsorship since you are applying for underG studies. So work on convincing them that you have REAL sponsors not bogus ones All the best AJANIEmmanuel78: |

My opinion is once you have been asked to proceed for medicals, it is only a matter of time you are approved unless you didnt pass medicals. Stay hopeful hadeytee: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Nobody: 6:53pm On Nov 16, 2017 |
Cherryola: You may seem desperate if you start presenting unnecessary documents to convince the VO. Simply ask your sponsor to write you a ltter of financial sponsorship along with the SoA of the filling station and CAC reg papers showing him as the owner of the coy. Dazzal |

Please I am at the stage of applying for admission. what are the chances of a 2.2 graduate getting an admission in a Canada school? Also I want to apply for an MPH program and it is competitive in most of the schools I have checked, please can anyone help with a school that's not so competitive and considers a second class lower for their masters program. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by jnyuwa02: 9:15pm On Nov 16, 2017 |
Yureyes: I know of no school, even a diploma course rejects second class lower. But you can research and keep trying, you will succeed at last. Capitalize on weaving an inspiring story in your statement of intent, it can supersede a low grade and the admission committee might give you a chance. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Nobody: 9:32pm On Nov 16, 2017 |
jnyuwa02:Alright thanks. Well, my degree is unclassified. while in school, I only cared about passing my courses because i knew there won't be a 2.1 or 1st class on my certificate or transcript. so my grades are mostly Cs and Bs. I never even bothered myself with GPA until recently when I began to search for a school for my post graduate. I calculated it myself and it was 3.50 on the dot but public health courses are so competitive and sometimes the higher the GPA, the higher your chances.. I am looking for a less competitive school and one that accepts 2.2 so I can stand a good chance of gaining admission. Now I have to hope my 2 years of experience working as a doctor will boost my chances since I can't find a school that's not so competitive. Thanks for your response. |
