Yaradua's Return: The Final Northern Onslaught. by publisher(m): 1:58pm On Feb 24, 2010
The tribune newspapers had for the past couple of days reported loopsided postings in the Nigerian Army, where Northern officers from Kano/Katsina axis now dominate commanding positions in the Army. The army naturally denied any wrongdoing, however recent developments in our nation has revealed a calculated conspiracy theory which may lead to the eventual take-over of government by the Military. The mandate of this new military regime will be the restore and consolidate the core north's hold on power in Nigeria. Reports have it that some of these new Northern commanding officers in the Nigerian army played subtle roles in the recent Niger coup, using it to test the mood of the international community.

The Northern cabal who constitute the bulk of Yaradua's kitchen cabinet are working seriously behind the scenes. Yaradua's sudden return to the country is the first phase of this plot, the intention here being to heat up the polity, making it impossible for Jonathan to rule smoothly. As it is, Yaradua's presence has now made it difficult for the federal executive council to reach a two third majority in declaring the president permanently incapacitated,a war of words, confusion and division will soon envelope the executive arm of government.

Certain Northern and few south/south senators have been planted in the national assembly to make it impossible for the legislative arm of government to deal with this crisis when it erupts. Nigeria will be in a constitutional comatose, eventually there will be a military takeover.
With Yaradua portrayed as refusing to handover due to health grounds, the military will make its move using that as an excuse. Two military groups will emerge and Acting president Goodluck Jonathan will be killed in what looks like an accidental crossfire. With the two men out,the soldiers will then hand over power to David Mark, who will then organize fresh elections next year. Governor Yuguda of Bauchi may emerge the preferred candidate.
Yaradua as a person is favourably disposed to resigning as president and facing his health, but his power hungry constituency through his wife are not ready to loose their grip on Nigeria's soul. Lets watch and see how it all goes.

If that happens, the US might attack us, they will not be comfortable with extreme people in charge of Nigeria.
They have already engaged seriously and gelled with Jonathan.

With Respect this is all OBJ fault, he hand over to this Northererns who see power as their birthright and the lack of any meaningful political system and institution.

Yar A'crisis should have been impeached instead of using BBC interview as basis upon which notification was done to NASS and it will be up to him to come to NASS and defend himself. 90days sickness as a leader of a country is just too much.

Is he going to now write NASS to say he is resuming or that he has not written them to say he is on medical vacation. Where are his medical reports of his fitness? why did he not write since all these days.

Make no mistake the kitchen cabinet and Turai are out to cause crisis and the man YAR A'CHAOS is brainless of the problem that he wll develop.

PDP rotational presidency arrangement is not part of Nigerian constitution.

I think you are on to something here, Africom will soon be ready to help resolve the terrorist, bunkering, and kidnapping issue in the ND, with the approval of Jonathan. Jonathan has already approved N15b for projects in the region. All these things bode well for the people of ND, but not for the terrorists members of MEND. It was reported yesterday that Ateke Tom's house was just raided for starters.

How can this be OBJ's fault? Rotational presidency makes more sense in Nigeria considering the unending suspicion amongst most if not all the ethnic nationalities and geo political zones.

Concerning the Tribune report my comment is this

Tribune was the only newspaper that was had as its headline "Fresh plans to bring Yar'adua back" (not sure of the exact words but the same message) when other newspapers in the country were screaming with Yar'adua's return as headlines.

Goes to show that while others were busy collecting news Tribune was busy giving Nigerians the usual Nollywoodlike conspiracy theories.
