Yes,a medic. I don't know about your rebel standard trained soldiers,combat soldiers are trained to perform CPR. Ever heard about buddy aid? A medic won't always be there with his bag. Your soldiers carry: 1 assault rifle and 150 bullets. SA has a battalion size force of special forces,similar to the USAF pararescue guys. But this guys take time to arrive,so soldiers must bandage,perform CPR on their comrades before rescue. But your soldiers will just watch in horror when their comrades bleed out to death. Using uniform to dress wounds?

Every platoon has medical officer and first aid kit in any national army in this world. Even Burundi will not send soldiers to war without first aid kit. Even civilan offices and children's schools have first aid boxes.

You want to turn this forum into argument about plaster, bandage, and iodine bottle or dettol .... Whose time are you trying to waste? If you have nothing good to post, please switch off your laptop and go watch Tv.

That was to add on an already existing number. SANDF use Mfezi as their ambulance and I really do not see the need of having to buy more. Thats why the number is so small. Perhaps, they are more advanced.
