Did the guy you quoted ever quoted you in the first instance? You idiots should learn to focus on your states. Our government is working, face your own state government.

You are one of the people who give Igbo people the reputation of being too divided and impulsive. The same you who will be attacking Yorubas even unprovoked sometimes in other threads is now attacking Enugu, a fellow Igbo state in this thread. I am sure you will soon start attacking another village in Anambra state. A fellow Igbo made an observation about erosion in Anambra which is a legitimate concern. Instead of you replying him constructively you went ballistic. What did you gain now? You call yourself an activist for a people who you dont even understand.
Anambra and Enugu are already divided. I hope you have seen the fence raised by Anambra state on the Enugu boundary? As for erosion, yes Anambra has the worst erosion prevalence in the south east but Enugu has the worst poverty prevalence in the southeast. You mind talking about that?

Which expectations has he exceeded? He is falling very much short in environmental management. What is the big deal about waste disposal? People are throwing away plastics everywhere without care. Something that does not decay for long number of years thereby preventing soil from binding. Why can't we enforce laws, make people manufacturing pure water, bottled water, disposable plates and other single use plastics to increase the price and buy back the used ones? Why can't we teach the masses how to compost their wastes in their various compounds, incenerate the others, keep the plastic and bottles for companies to come by each house and buy it back. If the government cannot manage waste disposal just like education before Governor Peter Obi, they should hand it over to the churches. Simple things like this , and black man fails at it. I feel so bad whenever I am in Nigeria and see the rate at which refuse dumps are filled to over five times it's capacity and the government is yet to evacuate it. People should also be flogged for dropping wastes as they are producing it anywhere they are. They should hold onto the waste till they get to a point where there is a refuse bin to dispose them. If they need me to consult on waste disposal and sundry issues, I will happily avail myself.
Also cutting down tress should be done by government. If the tree poses a danger to lives, you report to the local government.

And how does this relate to what you quoted?

Please my mention is not meant for wailing. Learn to comprehend little sentences.

Imagine the assignment you gave yourself over lack of comprehension.

Does what you wrote up there make sense? What does erecting a border between Anambra and Enugu state because of Corona Virus have to do with the division of the states? So because Enugu has poor people based on NBS oluwole statistics they should not talk about the erosion in Anambra state? Can you listen to yourself?
Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by leicestercamper: 1:36pm On May 26, 2020
The issue of poverty ranking was never discussed at all. With Imo 28% Abia 30%, Enugu 60%, let's not even talk about Ebonyi with almost 80%. None of these people ever saw it as an issue more dangerous than even 2nd world to discuss it. But exchange the poverty level of Enugu state with that of Anambra, then you will see the kind of dust it would generate not only by igbos from others states online but also those offline. Some will even use it to start to throw stones.

This poverty ranking is a enough for the affected states with high rates to declare state of emergency, but they won't, because they feel it will embarrass them in the media. Hypocrites

This is why most of you are useless. Now it is oluwole stats because it affected your ass.

Onye uno ya na agba oku adi achu oke. You have even more problems at hand but because of your stupidity you think the best thing is to leave your own problems that you should be tackling and carry another man's problem as a subject of discourse. Even when that same person is busy fixing his own problem.

That's stupidity

Bro this thread didn't say Eastern thread or anything Enugu/Anambra. Why can't you people face your state in peace? If an Anambrarian comes to Enugu development threads to cause nuisance, I will come against such person too but you will hardly see me there anyways.

Erosion in Anambra is being taken care of, we won't allow a free for all attack on the state govt who are trying their best to proffer solution. it's an insult to human intelligence and it's highly provocative.

We can unite on a neutral thread to neutralize threats on Igbo land in general but not to disrespect each other on a state level.

Buhari Approves Five New Zonal Commands for Nigeria Police

President Muhammadu Buhari wednesday approved the creation of five new zonal commands of the Nigeria Police Force.

He also directed the reorganisation of the departments of the force notably the Force Intelligence Bureau and the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID).

The five newly created commands are Ondo/Ekiti command with headquarters at Akure, Ondo State; and Enugu/Anambra/Ebonyi Command with headquarters in Ukpo-Dunukofia(Awka) in Anambra State.

Others are Balyelsa/Rivers command with headquarters in Yenogoa,Bayelsa State; Katsina,/Kaduna command with headquarters in Katsina; Yobe/Borno command with headquarters in Maiduguri, Borno State. In the new command structure arrangement, the Force Intelligence Bureau (FIB) is formally excised from the FCID to become a full-fledged department to be headed by a Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG).

A statement signed by the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Adamu, said the new structure is expected to fully integrate intelligence-led policing strategy and community policing.

President Buhari, who is the chairman of the Nigerian Police Council, also approved the decentralization of the FCID in line with the principle of community policing.

The statement said two additional annex offices of the department is to be established in Enugu to take care of investigations of major crimes emanating from the South-east and South-south geo political zones, while the second in Gombe State would take care of investigations from the North-east geo-political zone.

He said the new annex offices are in addition to the existing anex offices in Lagos and Kaduna, while the FCID annex offices in Lagos, Kaduna, Enugu and Gombe states would be headed by Assistant Inspectors-General of Police (AIGs) who are to report to the DIGs in charge of the FCID, at the Force Headquarters Abuja.

The president also approved a new structure for the four police colleges in the country located in Kaduna, Ikeja, Maiduguri and Orji-River, which is geared towards training and capacity development of the junior cadre of the force.

“The president approved that the status of the commandants of the colleges be upgraded to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG). This will strengthen administration, enhance the commitment of staff and engender higher level of discipline and the quality of training at the colleges,” it said.

The statement noted that the approvals were granted in order to expand and strengthen the intelligence department towards driving the intelligence-led policing strategy of the force leadership and to aid in the entrenchment of the community policing practice as approved by the federal government.

What Nigeria needs is the devaluation of Police let every state take control because policing is local. The federal government should creat federal and state police let the mobile police be for federal. Here in America, every city has there owned police department the city that can't afford them the state police which the called sharif will take over.

Update from Onitsha 2nd Niger bridge. 2nd Niger bridge is a single biggest infrastructure in Nigeria since 1999.

There's also other infrastructures that are connected to the 2nd Niger bridge like the Obosi cloverleaf interchange and Atani road overpass.

This single infrastructure will expand and advance SE region particularly the city of Onitsha economically as the economic hub of the region.

Poverty is far better than erosion..Besides Anambra has a poverty of 15% far more than poverty index of Osun, Edo , Oyo, Ondo, Delta....Anything more than 5% is poverty.. Anambra is both erosion ravaged and would soon be washed off in the Atlantic Ocean and poor as well
