Hello all,
I do have a Rover 600, 2.0i with a broken engine. I have been told that a honda accord 2.0i engine will fit for a replacement. Can someone please tell me what year model of honda accord 2.0 engine will fit comfortably. Do l need to change anything else like the disc plate in my Rover gear box to a honda disc plate? pls kindly advice, I am going nut!!!!! Thank you,

The 1995 - 1998 Honda Accord 2,0L engine is a direct replacement for the damaged unit in your Rover 600. There's no need to change the flywheel (manual) flexi plate (automatic), both cars use the same transmission.

siena are u sure a 98 engine would work in Rover 600? cos i think 98 should be baby boy. though i use presently a rover 620i which i brought in from uk in 2007 and got it converted. Engine is same as that of honda hala i.e 90model

I only go by the model year, I have no idea what the Nigerian terms refer to, model wise.

"Catalysator" simply means the car / engine has a catalytic converter. If your car has no catalyst, you can fit the new engine without the cat, if it has one. And use the fuel injection system, if yours is the same.
